Abstract

Digitalization can threaten social capital because technology reduces direct interaction and opportunities for deliberation, leading to increased individualism. This study aims to explore the role of deliberation in strengthening social capital in Karya Tani Village, Kempas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing both primary and secondary data sources. Primary data is obtained through observations and structured in-depth interviews with informants, while secondary data is gathered from relevant literature and documents. The findings reveal that deliberation in Karya Tani Village functions not only as a decision-making tool but also as a mechanism for building social networks, trust, as well as shared norms and values within the community. This process creates an inclusive social climate where every voice is valued, reducing the potential for conflict and strengthening community relationships.Keywords: Deliberation, Social Capital, Strengthening

Abstract

Abstract:This research aims to explore and analyze the socio-economic dynamics of street vendors at the Putri Kaca Mayang tourist attraction. This research uses an economic sociology approach to understand social interactions and economic factors that influence street vendors. Qualitative research methods were used with in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis as data collection techniques. The results of this research provide a deeper understanding of the socio-economic dynamics of street vendors at the Putri Kaca Mayang tourist attraction. Business location, government regulations, and consumer behavior are the main things that influence their socio-economic conditions. Factors such as infrastructure, government regulations and consumer behavior have a crucial role in determining the income and business continuity of street vendors at the Putri Kaca Mayang tourist attraction. Keywords: Street Vendors, Socio-Economic Dynamics, Tourist Attraction Putri Kaca Mayang Pekanbaru Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan menganalisis dinamika sosial ekonomi pedagang kaki lima di objek wisata Putri Kaca Mayang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi ekonomi untuk memahami interaksi sosial dan faktor ekonomi yang memengaruhi pedagang kaki lima. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman lebih dalam tentang dinamika sosial ekonomi pedagang kaki lima di Objek Wisata Putri Kaca Mayang. Lokasi usaha, regulasi pemerintah, dan perilaku konsumen menjadi hal utama yang memengaruhi kondisi sosial ekonomi mereka.  Adapun faktor-faktor seperti infrastruktur, peraturan pemerintah, dan perilaku konsumen memiliki peran krusial dalam menentukan pendapatan dan kelangsungan usaha pedagang kaki lima di Objek Wisata Putri Kaca Mayang. Kata Kunci: Pedagang Kaki Lima, Dinamika Sosial Ekonomi, Objek Wisata Putri Kaca Mayang Pekanbaru.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The increasing participation of muzakki (payers of zakat) in paying zakat is a significant phenomenon in strengthening the economy of the Muslim community and empowering the Muslim community. In the past two years, there has been an increase in the number of muzakki and an increase in the zakat funds collected and distributed, indicating a transformation in religious awareness within society. This study aims to analyze the factors driving this increase in muzakki participation and to examine the transformation in public awareness in the practice of zakat. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that the increase in muzakki participation is influenced by religiosity, transparency of zakat institutions, ease of payment technology, and the role of social education. Furthermore, there has been a shift in awareness from normative obligations to collective awareness as an instrument of social empowerment. These findings confirm that zakat is not only a religious obligation but also a mechanism for social transformation in the development of Islamic society.
