Abstract

This study examines the transformation of religious behavior among university students who are alumni of Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) after entering the academic context of higher education. Shifts in values, lifestyle, and consistency of worship emerge as prominent phenomena that require scholarly explanation. The purpose of this research is to describe the factors influencing such behavioral transformations and to explore their relevance to social theory. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method, combining library research with questionnaires and online interviews. The findings reveal that campus environment, peer interactions, social media, academic demands, and personal motivation are the primary factors driving the transformation of religious behavior among pesantren alumni in higher education.

Abstract

Pembagian harta bersama pasca perceraian kerap menimbulkan persoalan keadilan, terutama bagi istri berperan ganda ketika kontribusi ekonomi dan tanggung jawab nafkah pasca perceraian tidak dipertimbangkan secara proporsional. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis problematika pembagian harta bersama pasca perceraian bagi istri berperan ganda dalam perspektif sosiologi hukum Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologi hukum Islam berbasis studi kepustakaan melalui penelaahan peraturan perundang-undangan, Kompilasi Hukum Islam, serta literatur ilmiah dan data empiris yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembagian harta bersama secara sama rata berpotensi menimbulkan ketidakadilan substantif apabila tidak mempertimbangkan kontribusi ekonomi dan tanggung jawab nafkah pasca perceraian. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan pembagian harta bersama yang lebih proporsional dan kontekstual agar selaras dengan nilai keadilan dan tujuan hukum Islam.

Abstract

The increasing phenomenon of academic pressure within modern families has given rise to a parenting pattern excessively oriented toward children’s achievements, commonly referred to as toxic achievement parenting. This parenting style is characterized by high parental expectations regarding academic success, strict control, and the tendency to evaluate children primarily based on their achievements. This study aims to analyze the impact of parental obsession with achievement on children’s mental health, particularly in relation to anxiety, academic stress, emotional burnout, and decreased self-esteem. The research employs a qualitative approach using a phenomenological study method to explore children’s psychological experiences in dealing with achievement pressure within the family environment. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies involving middle school students and several parents in urban educational settings. The findings reveal that toxic achievement parenting significantly contributes to various psychological problems among children, including fear of failure, social anxiety, loss of intrinsic motivation, emotional disconnection from parents, and tendencies toward mild depression. The novelty of this research lies in its integrative analysis of achievement-oriented parenting patterns and children’s mental health dynamics within the context of a competitive modern culture. This study recommends strengthening positive parenting practices and implementing child-centered educational approaches that prioritize psychological well-being in order to create a more supportive and emotionally healthy family environment.
