Abstract

Olahraga kabaddi merupakan salah satu cabang olahraga tradisional yang memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan di Indonesia, khususnya di Kabupaten Jeneponto. Namun, tingkat pengetahuan dan partisipasi masyarakat terhadap olahraga ini masih tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses sosialisasi serta upaya pengembangan olahraga kabaddi di Kabupaten Jeneponto. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi pengurus olahraga, pelatih, serta masyarakat yang terlibat dalam kegiatan kabaddi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi dilakukan melalui kegiatan demonstrasi, pelatihan dasar, dan pengenalan di lingkungan sekolah serta komunitas masyarakat. Sementara itu, pengembangan olahraga kabaddi dilakukan melalui pembinaan atlet, penyediaan sarana dan prasarana, serta dukungan dari pemerintah daerah dan organisasi olahraga. Meskipun demikian, terdapat beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan fasilitas, minimnya sumber daya manusia yang kompeten, serta kurangnya dukungan pendanaan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih terstruktur dan kolaboratif antara pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, dan masyarakat untuk meningkatkan popularitas serta prestasi olahraga kabaddi di Kabupaten Jeneponto.

Abstract

This quantitative research aims to determine the volleyball underhand passing ability of students at Mangasa Elementary School. The population of this study was all students at Mangasa Elementary School. Purposive sampling was used to determine the sample size, thus reflecting the total population of 30 students at Mangasa Elementary School. The data collection technique used was an underhand passing test for the students at Mangasa Elementary School. The results of the study on the underhand passing ability of the 30 students at Mangasa Elementary School showed that out of 30 students, 2 (6.67%) were in the excellent category, 10 (33.33%) were in the good category, 8 (26.67%) were in the fair category, 7 (23.33%) were in the poor category, and 3 (10.00%) were in the poor category. Based on the research results and discussion, it can be concluded that the volleyball underhand passing ability of the students at Mangasa Elementary School is categorized as "good."

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of passing ability in the Bangau Putra Football School (SSB Bangau Putra). This research is a descriptive quantitative study. The method used is a survey, and data collection techniques include tests and measurements. The population in this study was the entire Bangau Putra Football School (SSB Bangau Putra). Since all participants were sampled, this study is a population study of 30 Bangau Putra Football Schools. The instrument used was a football passing test. The data analysis technique used percentage descriptions. The results show that the level of passing ability in the Bangau Putra Football School (SSB Bangau Putra) was in the "very poor" category for 3% of students (1 student), "poor" for 18% (5 students), "moderate" for 53% (16 students), "good" for 13% (4 students), and "very good" for 13% (4 students). Based on the average score of 48.63 points, which is in the moderate category, it can be concluded that the level of passing ability in the Bangau Putra Football School (SSB Bangau Putra) is in the "moderate" category.
