<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Essential oil merupakan senyawa volatil yang berasal dari tanaman aromatik dan telah banyak dimanfaatkan dalam aromaterapi karena efek relaksasi serta potensi terapeutiknya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu PKK dalam memproduksi lilin aromaterapi anti-nyeri berbasis essential oil jahe (Zingiber officinale) dan essential oil serai (Cymbopogon citratus) yang diperoleh melalui metode hidrodistilasi sebagai salah satu upaya promotif dalam menjaga kesehatan keluarga. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada kelompok ibu-ibu PKK di Desa Panca Tunggal melalui pendekatan edukatif yang meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung pembuatan lilin aromaterapi, serta dilengkapi dengan evaluasi tingkat pemahaman dan penerimaan peserta. Tahapan kegiatan mencakup penyampaian informasi mengenai potensi tanaman herbal, proses formulasi lilin aromaterapi, serta pelaksanaan uji organoleptik terhadap produk yang dihasilkan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam pemanfaatan bahan herbal lokal untuk menghasilkan produk lilin aromaterapi yang aman, aplikatif, dan bernilai guna. Produk lilin aromaterapi yang dihasilkan memiliki karakteristik sensori yang baik, meliputi aroma khas, warna yang menarik, tekstur yang stabil, serta memperoleh respons positif dari peserta. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam memperkuat peran ibu-ibu PKK sebagai agen kesehatan keluarga serta membuka peluang pengembangan produk berbasis bahan lokal yang berpotensi meningkatkan nilai ekonomi Masyarakat. ABSTRACT Essential oil is a volatile compound derived from aromatic plants and has been widely used in aromatherapy because of its relaxing effect and therapeutic potential. This community service activity aimed to increase the knowledge capacity and skills of PKK mothers in producing anti-pain aromatherapy candles based on ginger essential oil (Zingiber officinale) and lemongrass essential oil (Cymbopogon citratus) obtained through the hydrodistillation method as one of the promotional efforts in maintaining family health. The activity was carried out by a group of PKK mothers in Panca Tunggal Village through an educational approach that included counseling, demonstration, and direct practice of making aromatherapy candles, as well as an evaluation of the level of understanding and acceptance of the participants. The stages of the activity included the delivery of information about the potential of herbal plants, the aromatherapy candle formulation process, as well as the implementation of organoleptic tests on the products produced. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in the understanding and skills of participants in the utilization of local herbal ingredients to produce aromatherapy candle products that were safe, applicative, and useful. The aromatherapy candle products produced had good sensory characteristics, including a distinctive aroma, attractive color, stable texture, and obtained a positive response from the participants.
