Abstract

: Jayawijaya is a region that has traditional culture that still exists in the current era of globalization and will officially be 67 years old on December 10 2023. As one of the districts in the central mountainous region, it should be able to compete with other districts and cities, especially in terms of tourism. The contradiction felt in the last decade is that Jayawijaya has lost its attraction for local people and foreign tourists to come to visit. The aim of this research is to explore the potential of tourism that is oriented towards local wisdom values and environmental and cultural preservation, based on local communities (community based tourism), including marketing strategies for tourist attractions to provide economic benefits for the community in the long term. Specifically, this research is to find out and understand several things in order to formulate strategies in solving the problem of competitive and sustainable tourism potential.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the employment practices of Generation Z in Indonesia’s creative industry. This phenomenon is particularly prominent in the context of significant post-pandemic transformation and the dominance of Generation Z in this sector. This study uses a phenomenological qualitative approach, conducting in-depth interviews and observations of six Generation Z employees working at a creative company in a metropolitan environment. The findings reveal that flexible work schedules are viewed positively as they support healthy work-life balance, enhance productivity, and strengthen employee trust and loyalty. However, significant challenges were also identified, including difficulties in managing work and personal life, unclear professional boundaries, limited face-to-face interaction, and adaptation to digital technology and virtual collaboration. This study highlights the importance of integrating psychological and social dimensions to develop adaptive, sustainable, and relevant career paths for Generation Z. The aim is to enhance well-being and productivity in the rapidly evolving creative industry.

Abstract

Stunting remains a serious problem in human development in Indonesia as it affects the quality of human resources, cognitive development, and children’s productivity in the future. The Family Assistance Program for stunting prevention, initiated by BKKBN and the Ministry of Health, positions community cadres as the frontline actors in prevention efforts. This study aims to analyze the competencies and performance of family assistance cadres as well as the strategic human resource management (HRM) factors that influence their effectiveness. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach in Dakopemean Subdistrict, Tolitoli Regency, Central Sulawesi. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that cadre competencies include knowledge of nutrition and child growth, communication skills, and the use of reporting technology. Major challenges identified were limited training, inadequate ICT facilities, and inconsistent incentives. The effectiveness of assistance increased when supported by strategic HRM elements such as continuous training, feedback-based supervision, fair incentives, and non-material recognition. In conclusion, enhancing cadre competencies and implementing HRM policies aligned with program objectives are key to the success of stunting prevention at the family level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of information and communication technology (ICT)-based monitoring on employee work discipline by considering the moderating role of digital literacy within the context of coastal areas. The study employs a systematic literature review approach using bibliometric analysis of 146 documents obtained from the Scopus database. The findings indicate that research on ICT and employee performance has shown a significant upward trend over the past decade and is predominantly concentrated in the fields of business and management. The thematic analysis reveals that ICT has the potential to improve work discipline through more transparent and real-time monitoring systems; however, its impact is not direct. The effectiveness of ICT is influenced by psychological factors, organizational conditions, and employees’ level of digital literacy. Additionally, ICT usage may also generate negative effects such as work stress and resistance to technology. This study highlights digital literacy as a moderating variable that strengthens the relationship between ICT-based monitoring and employee work discipline. Furthermore, the coastal context plays a crucial role in influencing ICT implementation due to limitations in infrastructure and technological access. This research contributes to the development of a conceptual model integrating ICT, digital literacy, and regional context in enhancing employee work discipline.
