Abstract

Conventional learning tends to be monotonous and less interactive, resulting in low student learning motivation. Learning support activities using non-conventional methods are needed. Interactive support based on educational games with projector media is promoted to increase student learning motivation. The implementation of the activity includes planning, socialization, learning support, observation, and reflection. The target of the activity is students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Ngampungan. Data was collected using observation and documentation techniques during the activity. The results of the activity show that during the learning process, students are more enthusiastic and motivated. Students appear more active in asking questions, answering questions, and participating in learning activities. The implementation of projector-based educational games can create an interactive, fun, and competitive learning atmosphere. Projector-based educational games media helps students understand the material more easily. Projector media is an innovative alternative for schools with limited learning facilities. This activity is expected to be one of the interactive learning models that teachers can apply to improve the quality and motivation of students in elementary schools.

Abstract

Abstract

The curriculum is the foundation of the educational process that shapes learners’ character, spirituality, and social awareness. This study explores the concept and implementation of a Love-Based Curriculum (LBC) as an effort to develop a spiritual, humanistic, and inclusive paradigm in madrasah education. The main objective of this research is to examine how love centered values such as compassion, empathy, and respect for diversity can be integrated into learning design, teaching strategies, and educational culture in Islamic schools. Using a qualitative descriptive method through literature review and content analysis, this study analyzes various theoretical frameworks, educational models, and previous research related to love-based education. The findings indicate that a LBC encourages holistic learning, strengthens emotional and spiritual intelligence, and promotes inclusive attitudes among students. Moreover, it provides a moral foundation that harmonizes intellectual, emotional, and spiritual development in accordance with Islamic values. The study concludes that implementing a LBC is essential to actualize madrasah as institutions that nurture compassionate, tolerant, and morally grounded individuals.

Abstract

Pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) are traditional Islamic educational institutions that have been deeply rooted in Indonesia’s history and culture, long before the introduction of the formal school system. As centers of religious learning, pesantren not only teach Islamic sciences but also nurture the character, morals, and spirituality of the students (santri) who live in dormitory environments under the direct guidance of a kiai (religious leader). Given their crucial role in shaping morally upright and religiously knowledgeable generations, the government has provided substantial support through the Pesantren Endowment Fund, as stipulated in Presidential Regulation Number 82 of 2021. This fund originates from the national Education Endowment Fund and is permanent in nature (the principal amount is not depleted), with the aim of ensuring the sustainable development of pesantren education. Through this funding, pesantren are expected to continuously improve the quality of their education, broaden access, and strengthen their contributions to national development without compromising the distinctive identity and noble values passed down through generations. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach, employing the Product Moment Formula for data analysis. The research results show a calculated t-value (t-count) of 16.6105 and a critical t-value (t-table) of 1.67591. Since t-count > t-table, the hypothesis is accepted. The coefficient of determination is 65%, indicating a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y.
