Abstract

Pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) is a crucial competency for prospective physics teachers. This study aims to develop an online test to assess pedagogical electricity and magnetism concepts in higher education. Participants included 33 prospective physics teachers from a public university in Bandung, four university lecturers, and three physics teachers. A sequential mixed-methods approach was employed, following the Exploratory Design: Instrument Development Model. Qualitative data were collected through questionnaires and literature reviews, while quantitative data were obtained from logical validation using the Learning Object Review Instrument 2.0 and empirical validation. Qualitative data were analyzed using source triangulation, then Many Facet Rasch Measurement (MFRM) was applied for quantitative analysis. The results demonstrate that the Pedagogical Electricity and Magnetism Online Concept Test (PEMOCT) is valid, reliable, and exhibits strong instrument characteristics.

Abstract

This research compares the effectiveness of manual and machine sprayers in spraying applications on agriculturalland. Research results show that machine sprayers, such as electric knapsack sprayers, are superior to manualsprayers in several aspects. The use of a machine sprayer increases work efficiency with more even fluiddistribution, reduces operator fatigue, and allows area coverage of up to 1-2 hectares per hour. The average timeneeded to spray one hectare of land using a machine sprayer is around 30-45 minutes. In addition, the use ofmachine sprayers can optimize the use of chemicals by reducing waste due to uneven spraying by up to 20-30%. Interms of long-term operational costs, even though machine sprayers require a larger initial investment (around 20-40% higher than manual sprayers), the resulting efficiency can reduce overall costs by 15-25%.

Abstract

Keterbatasan fasilitas pengamatan astronomi di lingkungan pendidikan menjadi salah satu kendala dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran fisika dan astronomi. Permasalahan utama yang sering dihadapi meliputi risiko kerusakan teleskop akibat kondisi cuaca, paparan debu, serta keterbatasan fasilitas penyimpanan yang aman dan permanen. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan gagasan inovatif berupa Kubah Teleskop Edukasi (KTE) sebagai solusi alternatif untuk mendukung kegiatan observasi astronomi di lingkungan pendidikan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang dipadukan dengan perancangan konseptual audiovisual sesuai dengan karakteristik Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa Video Gagasan Konstruktif (PKM-VGK). Proses penelitian dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan utama, yaitu pra-produksi, produksi, dan pasca-produksi yang meliputi penyusunan konsep, pengambilan data visual, serta penyuntingan video. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep Kubah Teleskop Edukasi berhasil dirancang dalam bentuk model konstruksi kubah yang mampu berputar 360° dengan sistem atap buka-tutup untuk melindungi teleskop dari hujan dan debu. Gagasan tersebut divisualisasikan dalam bentuk video edukasi berdurasi empat menit yang dipublikasikan melalui media sosial sebagai sarana diseminasi gagasan inovatif. Inovasi ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi konsep fisika, rekayasa teknik, dan media audiovisual dapat menjadi alternatif solusi dalam pengembangan fasilitas pembelajaran astronomi serta mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan.
