Abstract

Perkembangan peserta didik pada era digital mengalami perubahan yang signifikan akibat pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang memengaruhi aspek kognitif, sosial, emosional, dan moral. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis teori perkembangan peserta didik serta implementasinya dalam konteks pendidikan di era digital. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kepustakaan (library research). Subjek penelitian berupa berbagai sumber literatur ilmiah yang terdiri atas jurnal nasional dan internasional, artikel ilmiah bereputasi, serta buku akademik yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Sumber data diperoleh dari database ilmiah seperti Google Scholar, Scopus, dan portal jurnal nasional terakreditasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi dengan menelaah dan mengkaji berbagai literatur terkait perkembangan peserta didik dan teknologi pendidikan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis) dan analisis tematik melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi digital mampu meningkatkan akses informasi, kemandirian belajar, literasi digital, serta kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Namun, penggunaan teknologi yang berlebihan juga berpotensi menimbulkan ketergantungan gawai, menurunkan interaksi sosial, dan memengaruhi perkembangan karakter. Oleh karena itu, pemanfaatan teknologi perlu diimbangi dengan pendidikan karakter dan pendampingan guru agar perkembangan peserta didik berlangsung secara optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the various issues faced by elementary school (SD) students in solving problem-solving tasks in mathematics through a literature review approach. Problem-solving is one of the essential skills in mathematics learning, closely linked to higher-order thinking abilities. However, several research findings indicate that many elementary school students struggle to understand and solve problem-solving tasks. This study collects and analyzes various literature sources, including national journals, scientific articles, and relevant reference books. The findings reveal that common issues faced by students include: (1) insufficient understanding of basic mathematical concepts, (2) difficulties in reading and understanding word problems, (3) limitations in formulating problem-solving strategies, and (4) lack of reflection and evaluation skills regarding the obtained answers. In addition to the internal factors of students, external aspects such as less contextual teaching approaches, limited use of engaging learning media, and insufficient support from the learning environment also contribute to these problems. This study recommends strengthening a systematic and adaptive problem-solving-based learning approach from an early age to enhance students' critical thinking abilities in mathematics.
