Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and work environment on the performance of procurement officials in Southwest Papua Province. The research employed a quantitative approach with associative research type. The population consisted of all 53 procurement officials in Southwest Papua Province, and the entire population was sampled using saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a 4-point Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis techniques included multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that partially, job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on performance (coefficient 0.258; sig. 0.044). Organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect with a coefficient of 0.420 (the most dominant; sig. 0.000). Work environment had a positive but non-significant effect (coefficient 0.060; sig. 0.538). Simultaneously, all three variables had a significant effect on performance (F calculated 15.590; sig. 0.000). The R Square value of 0.488 means that the contribution of the three variables to performance is 48.8%, while the remaining 51.2% is influenced by other variables outside the model. In conclusion, organizational commitment is the most dominant factor in improving performance, followed by job satisfaction, while work environment has no significant effect. It is recommended that leadership prioritize strengthening employees' organizational commitment as the main strategy for improving performance, continue to enhance job satisfaction through improving compensation, supervision, and career opportunities, and gradually improve the work environment according to available budget.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Mall Paragon Sorong's image and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty, both partially and simultaneously. The background of this research is the intense competition in the retail industry in developing cities such as Sorong and the theoretical gap regarding the relationship between image, satisfaction, and loyalty in the context of modern shopping centers in Eastern Indonesia. This study employs a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research population consists of all visitors to Mall Paragon Sorong who have shopped at least twice. The sample was determined to be 100 respondents using the Hair et al. formula (number of indicators multiplied by 5-10). Data collection techniques used questionnaires with a 1-4 Likert scale. Data analysis included validity tests, reliability tests, multiple regression analysis, t-test (partial), F-test (simultaneous), and coefficient of determination (R²). The results showed that: (1) customer satisfaction has a significant influence on customer loyalty with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) and a regression coefficient of 0.476; (2) mall image does not have a significant influence on customer loyalty with a significance value of 0.503 (>0.05) and a regression coefficient of 0.044; (3) simultaneously, customer satisfaction and mall image have a significant influence on customer loyalty with an F-value of 20.167 and a significance of 0.000 (<0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.294 indicates that 29.4% of the variation in customer loyalty can be explained by customer satisfaction and mall image, while the remaining 70.6% is explained by other variables outside the study. The conclusion of this study is that customer satisfaction is the dominant factor influencing loyalty at Mall Paragon Sorong, while mall image has no direct influence. The recommendation for mall management is to prioritize improving visitor satisfaction through better service quality, facilities, and shopping experience.

Abstract

This study, entitled "Analysis of the Influence of Work Motivation and Compensation on Employee Performance at the Manpower, Transmigration, Energy, and Mineral Resources Office of Southwest Papua Province," is motivated by the importance of employee performance as a determining factor in the success of a government agency in carrying out its public service duties and functions. Work motivation and compensation are two key factors believed to influence employee performance. Work motivation reflects internal and external drives that foster enthusiasm for work, while compensation serves as a form of organizational recognition for employee contributions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of work motivation and compensation on employee performance at the Manpower, Transmigration, Energy, and Mineral Resources Office of Southwest Papua Province. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study was all employees at the office, with purposive sampling used. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire designed based on indicators of work motivation, compensation, and employee performance in accordance with relevant theories. The data obtained will be analyzed using validity and reliability tests and multiple linear regression to determine the extent of the influence of work motivation and compensation on employee performance. This research is expected to contribute to the development of human resource management policies within local governments, particularly in efforts to improve employee performance through motivational strategies and fair and proportional compensation. The results of this study show a sig value of 0.028 > 0.05 indicating that the work environment does not have a significant effect on employee performance, and the competency variable with a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05 indicates that the competency variable has a significant effect on employee performance and simultaneously both variables have a significant effect on employee performance with a sig value of 0.00 < 0.05.
