The population consisted of all mothers who had babies aged 9-24 months. The sample consisted of 60 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed a relationship between spousal support (p value: 0.000) and access to health services (p value: 0.025) with incomplete basic immunization. It is recommended that health center staff provide information related to immunization, not only to mothers but also to fathers, and provide training and guidance to cadres so that they are able to educate and convey information to parents regarding immunization, enabling cadres to independently provide understanding to parents. Keywords: Children, Spousal Support, Immunization.

Abstract

Abstract: Population issues have long been a global concern, both in developed and developing countries, including Indonesia. A large population does not always benefit a country if it is not balanced with adequate human resources. The purpose of this study was to identify several factors related to mothers' interest in using IUD contraceptives. A cross-sectional study design was used in this study. The research was conducted in the working area of the Sungai Bulian Community Health Center. The research was conducted in April 2025. The research population consisted of active family planning acceptors in the working area of the Sungai Bulian Community Health Center. The sample consisted of 65 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed a relationship between mothers' knowledge (p value: 0.000) and husbands' support (p value: 0.000) with mothers' interest in using IUD contraception. It is recommended that health centers improve public understanding by engaging with the community. It is necessary to change the knowledge and socio-cultural beliefs of the community regarding misconceptions about IUDs, especially for women of childbearing age, by providing counseling and education explaining what IUD contraceptives are, how they are inserted, their effectiveness, advantages, and disadvantages. Keywords: Spousal Support, IUD, Maternal Knowledge.

Abstract

Abstract: Women of Reproductive Age (WRA) are women between the ages of 15 and 49, a period during which their reproductive organs have fully developed and they are capable of becoming pregnant. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors associated with WRA’s interest in using intrauterine devices (IUDs). This study employed a cross-sectional design. The study was conducted in the service area of the Siulak Mukai Community Health Center. The study was carried out in July 2025. The sample consisted of 60 participants. Simple random sampling was used. A research questionnaire was used as the research instrument. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods. The results showed an association between parity (p-value: 0.030) and spousal support (p-value: 0.000) and the interest of women of reproductive age in using intrauterine devices. It is recommended that community health centers conduct outreach on IUDs by providing more in-depth health education and counseling so that women of reproductive age in the region will be interested in choosing to use IUDs.Keywords: Spousal Support, Parity, Women of Childbearing Age.
