Abstract

Abstract: Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem characterized by impaired growth and development in children due to prolonged malnutrition, particularly during the first 1,000 days of life (HPK). The objective of this study was to identify risk factors for stunting in toddlers. A cross-sectional study design was used. The study was conducted in the service area of the Mangulewa Community Health Center (Puskesmas). The study was conducted in July 2025. The study population consisted of all toddlers in the Golewa Barat subdistrict. The sample size was 115 toddlers. Simple random sampling was used. A research questionnaire was used as the research instrument. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods. The results showed an association between birth spacing (p-value: 0.027) and family income (p-value: 0.015) with the incidence of stunting in toddlers. It is recommended that the community health center conduct routine nutritional examinations and monitoring of toddlers at every Posyandu session.Keywords: Toddlers, Birth Spacing, Family Income.

Abstract

Based on document searches, Deli Serdang Regency still faces challenges in expanding JKN coverage, especially among unregistered communities. BPJS Kesehatan coverage is still inadequate, and there are limitations in the information they obtain regarding service procedures, administrative requirements, and the types of health services covered by BPJS Kesehatan. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between demographic aspects and the utilization of BPJS Kesehatan. The research design used in this study was cross-sectional. The research was conducted at the Tuntungan Community Health Center in September 2025. The research population consisted of all BPJS Kesehatan users in the Tuntungan Community Health Center working area. The sample consisted of 80 respondents. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods. The results showed a relationship between age (p value: 0.032) and education (p value: 0.040). It is recommended that health center staff improve health services to increase the utilization of BPJS Kesehatan services.

Abstract

Nurse performance is influenced by various factors, both individual and organizational. Based on in-depth interviews conducted with five practicing nurses at the Daya Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Makassar, several issues related to leadership style and nurse performance were identified. The findings indicate that the leadership style of nursing leaders is not yet fully perceived as effective by all practicing nurses. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between leadership style and nurse performance. A cross-sectional design was used in this study. The study was conducted at the Daya Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Makassar. The study was conducted in April 2025. The study population consisted of all 37 practicing nurses in the inpatient ward, who also became the study sample. The sampling technique used total sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods. The results showed a relationship between leadership style (p value: 0.045) and nurse performance. It is recommended that nurses understand the leadership style applied by the head of the ward to produce high-quality performance from practicing nurses at the hospital.         Keywords: Leadership, Performance, Nurses
