<![CDATA[This study is motivated by the importance of professional educational management and the increasing competition among educational institutions. Although Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) possesses several advantages, data indicate that public interest in MTs remains suboptimal, and it is often perceived as a “second alternative” educational institution. This is consistent with the findings of a preliminary survey conducted at MTs Ikhlashul Amal Sebawi, which revealed fluctuations in student enrollment that tend to be stagnant. Therefore, this study focuses on the strategic role of the madrasa principal in increasing the number of students. The purpose of this study is to describe and examine: (1) the role of the madrasa principal as an administrator, (2) the role of the madrasa principal as a leader, and (3) the role of the madrasa principal as an innovator in increasing student enrollment at MTs Ikhlashul Amal Sebawi. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques consist of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Meanwhile, the validity of the data is ensured through source triangulation and member checking. The findings of the study indicate that the madrasa principal plays an active role as an administrator by developing structured work programs and ensuring their effective implementation, thereby creating an orderly learning process. As a leader, the principal serves as a role model for all members of the madrasa through discipline and strong work ethic, while also building positive relationships with the community and surrounding schools. Finally, as an innovator, the principal introduces flagship programs, such as religious programs and the use of technology, and establishes collaboration with external stakeholders, which contributes to improving educational quality and attracting public interest.Keyword: The Role of the Madrasa Principal, Student Enrollment]]>
