Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of passenger handling, baggage volume and aircraft rotation on operational cost effectiveness mediated by on-time performance at Citilink airlines. The problem in this study is that the influence between the independent variables (passenger handling, baggage volume, aircraft rotation) and the dependent variable (operational cost effectiveness) mediated by on-time performance is quite complex. The research design used is quantitative with data analysis using SEM PLS with 100 respondents consisting of operational officers, passenger handling, baggage handling and administration. where the significant level is 0.05 to state whether the null hypothesis or alternative hypothesis is accepted or rejected. The results showed that there is a significant influence between Passenger Handling and operational cost effectiveness with a P value of 0.023. There is a significant positive relationship between baggage volume and operational cost effectiveness with a P value of 0.005. The effect of aircraft rotation and operational cost effectiveness with a P value of 0.003 which means there is a significant influence. On-time performance has a very significant influence on operational cost effectiveness with a P value of 0.000. Passenger handling has a significant effect on on-time performance with a P value of 0.000. There is no significant influence between baggage volume and operational cost effectiveness through on-time performance with a P value of 0.156. The effect of aircraft rotation shows a significant effect on operational cost effectiveness through on-time performance with a P value of 0.000.

Abstract

Public service is a government activity within institutions or organizations aimed at meeting societal needs in accordance with regulations. Motor vehicle testing is the inspection of vehicle components, including trailers and semi-trailers, to ensure technical compliance and roadworthiness. According to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 25 of 2009 on Public Services, the state must fulfill citizens’ needs while guaranteeing their rights and obligations. Community decisions to reuse services are largely influenced by satisfaction with the services received, making service quality improvement a key element of bureaucratic reform. This study applies a quantitative approach using SEM-PLS. The Partial Least Square method is employed to test theories and identify relationships among latent variables. Findings show that public trust mediates the effect of service quality and facilities on public satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of terminal location and accessibility on safety/security through service reliability among logistics companies operating at Tanah Merdeka Terminal, North Jakarta. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. The study population consisted of approximately 40 logistics companies in the research area, all of which were included in the sample using saturated sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through questionnaire distribution between March and June 2025. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS version 4.1 software. The results indicate that service reliability has a significant influence on safety/security. Additionally, terminal location indirectly affects safety/security through service reliability. However, accessibility was found to have no significant direct or indirect effect on service reliability and safety/security. These findings highlight the critical role of enhancing service reliability as a key factor in improving logistics safety and security.

Abstract

Maritime transportation plays a vital role in supporting connectivity and economic growth in Indonesia as an archipelagic nation. Ports, as the main hubs of maritime transportation, are required to provide efficient and high-quality services to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP), as a provider of multipurpose terminal services, has implemented various marketing strategies, including sales visits, increasing customer awareness, and applying relationship marketing. However, the results of the 2022 customer engagement survey showed fluctuations in some branches, and cargo traffic realization only reached 79.22% of the RKAP target, indicating the need to evaluate the effectiveness of existing marketing strategies. This study aims to analyze the influence of sales visits and customer awareness through relationship marketing on business partners' interest in collaborating with PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok. The selection of variables is based on theoretical and empirical relevance, where sales visits are considered important in building direct interaction and trust, customer awareness influences perception and interest in using services, while relationship marketing focuses on establishing mutually beneficial long-term relationships. This study uses quantitative methods with SEM PLS analysis. The results show that relationship marketing mediates sales visits and customer awareness on the interest of business partners in collaborating with PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of service innovation, pricing, and trust on ticket purchase retention for intercity and interprovincial (AKAP) buses at PO Sinar Jaya. Despite the increasing number of passengers, ticket purchase retention remains suboptimal, and the load factor is only 50%, far below the ideal standard of 70%. This phenomenon suggests that factors beyond passenger volume, such as service innovation and pricing policies, play a crucial role in influencing customer loyalty. The research employs a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The study population consists of all PO Sinar Jaya passengers in 2023, totaling 5,635,602 passengers. The sampling technique used is Random Purposive Sam-pling. The sample size is determined using Hair’s (2020) formula, based on the number of research indicators. Data was collected through questionnaires, and analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS software. The results indicate that service innovation positively influences trust and ticket purchase retention, whereas pricing does not significantly impact trust but positively affects ticket purchase retention. Additionally, trust plays a crucial role in enhancing purchase retention. The findings highlight the importance of service innovation and competitive pricing strategies in improving customer loyalty at PO Sinar Jaya.

Abstract

The provision of Self-service Check -in facilities at Terminal 1A is expected to improve operational smoothness, especially to automate the Check -in process using technology so that it can be more effective and efficient. This study was conducted to highlight the adoption of the use of Self-service Check -in facilities, using qualitative descriptive methods and analysis using the Delphi method. The purpose of the study is in line with the formulation of the problem and research questions, with the conclusion that Self-service Check -in facilities can improve service quality because they can be used easily, practically and save time in the Check -in process. Data were obtained through direct observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The findings show that Self-Check -in facilities can also reduce the burden on officers and queues in carrying out the Check -in process at manual counters, but these facilities are not optimal because there are still network constraints or paper that does not come out to print boarding passes, and has not been integrated with Self-baggage drop. Several efforts have been made to overcome these obstacles, such as conducting periodic maintenance on Self-service Check -in machines, providing usage information through social media, and making efforts so that Self-service Check -in can be integrated with Self-baggage drop so that it can facilitate passengers in carrying out the Check -in process along with handling passenger baggage.
