Abstract

This study aims to describe the vocabulary mastery and types of responses of a child with Childhood Disintegrative Disorder (CDD) through the use of word card media in Bantaeng Regency. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method, focusing on a single subject diagnosed with Childhood Disintegrative Disorder (CDD). Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed qualitatively. The results indicate that the subject was able to acquire six new vocabulary words through the use of word card media and demonstrated four forms of responses verbal, nonverbal, repetitive, and creative during the learning process. These findings suggest that word card media can support vocabulary acquisition while simultaneously fostering various forms of communicative responses in a child with Childhood Disintegrative Disorder (CDD).

The data sources in this study come from several episodes on the YouTube social media account TonightShowNet. The data analysis used is a stylistic approach that is carried out in detail starting from data identification, data classification, analyzing and interpreting data, and data presentation. The research data were obtained by grouping satire language style in the form of words, phrases, and sentences contained in the Talk Show Tonight Show. The results of the study show that in several episodes of Tonight Show, five forms of satire language style were found, namely irony, cynicism, sarcasm, satire, and inuendo. The functions of satire language style found include social criticism, entertainment, and building closeness. This study also identified two types of meaning contained in satire language style, namely connotative meaning and denotative meaning. Thus, the satirical style of language in "Tonight Show" serves not only as an entertainment element but also as a linguistic means of conveying social criticism implicitly and communicatively.

This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative). The research subjects consisted of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 14 Gowa. The study was conducted in two action cycles that included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, testing, and documentation techniques, then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study showed an increase in students' learning completeness in writing short stories through the application of Wattpad media. In cycle I, the learning completeness level reached 28.57%, while in cycle II it increased to 90.48% with a Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) of 75. This increase was seen in the aspects of short story structure, creativity in story development, and better use of language. The application of Wattpad media also increased students' interest and motivation in writing, because it provided a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience. Thus, Wattpad is an effective medium for learning to write short stories and contributes to strengthening students' digital literacy.
