Abstract

The reliability of electric power systems depends significantly on the accuracy of electrical energy metering instruments, as measurement errors directly influence consumption records and the fairness of transactions between utilities and customers. This study assesses the accuracy of kilowatt-hour (kWh) meters installed in three-phase Measuring and Limiting Devices (APP), considering both direct measurement configurations at low voltage (LV) and indirect measurement configurations at medium voltage (MV). The methodology includes field measurements of current, voltage, and power, followed by the calculation of kWh meter errors and Current Transformer (CT) errors using the collected data. The findings show that the kWh meter error is 0.27% for direct measurements and −1.78% for indirect measurements, with an average CT error of 1.97%. All measured error values are within the applicable standard tolerance limits; thus, the kWh meters are considered accurate, reliable, and suitable for operational use.

Abstract

Analisis perencanaan sistem pembangkit listrik tenaga surya (PLTS) atap pada bangunan pada koordinat -00.939643°, 100.410544° untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi harian sebesar 2,65 kWh. Bangunan yang direncanakan dilakukan pemasangan PLTS pada koordinat tersebut adalah tempat hunian kontrakan. Sistem yang direncanakan sesuai dengan perhitungan analisis aspek teknis dan analisis aspek biaya. Analisis aspek teknis pada PV Area sebesar 6,095 m2, wattpeak panel surya sebesar 1.297,128 Wp, jumlah panel surya yang digunakan adalah 3 unit, kapasitas SCC sebesar 16,38 A, kapasitas inverter sebesar 2.062,5 W, dan kapasitas baterai sebesar 145,3 Ah. Analisis aspek biaya pada investasi awal sebesar Rp 28.972.000, biaya operasional dan pemeliharaan (O&M) dari sisi penggantian baterai sebesar Rp 31.940.000 per 25 tahun kemudian dari sisi pemeliharaan rutin sebesar Rp 289.720 per tahun, biaya siklus hidup (LCC) sebesar Rp 63.541.800, dan biaya produksi listrik per kWh (COE) sebesar Rp 7.227 per kWh.
