Abstract

Research Background: Quantum Biology is a branch of science that studies the interaction between quantum mechanics and biological systems. Some early studies have shown that quantum phenomena affect the efficiency of biological processes, but understanding of their applications is still limited. Research Objectives: This study aims to investigate how quantum mechanics plays a role in biological processes, especially in photosynthesis and magnetic navigation in migratory birds. Research Methods: This research uses laboratory experiments with an interdisciplinary approach, combining quantum physics and molecular biology techniques. The samples used included plant culture cells and migratory birds, as well as data analysis using mathematical modeling to describe quantum phenomena in biological systems. Research Results: The results show that quantum phenomena, such as coherence and entanglement, play a role in improving the efficiency of photosynthesis and the ability of birds to navigate based on the Earth's magnetic field. The study also identified a quantum mechanism that accelerates metabolic processes in cells. Research Conclusions: This study provides strong evidence that quantum mechanics can directly affect biological systems. These findings open up opportunities for the development of quantum-based biotechnology, as well as provide new insights into understanding more efficient and coordinated biological processes.

Abstract

The implementation of technological innovation in the public sector is a critical driver of efficiency, transparency, and service delivery in many countries, including Indonesia. Despite the increasing importance of technology in public administration, the adoption and effective implementation of technological innovations in the Indonesian public sector face various challenges, including organizational resistance, inadequate infrastructure, and limited digital skills. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the successful implementation of technological innovations in Indonesian public institutions. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research integrates qualitative interviews with key public sector managers and quantitative surveys of public sector employees to identify the critical factors that facilitate or hinder the adoption of technology. The findings highlight that leadership commitment, organizational culture, availability of resources, and training programs are significant drivers of successful technological implementation. Conversely, barriers such as budget constraints, political factors, and a lack of technical expertise were found to limit the effectiveness of technological innovation. The study concludes that for successful technological innovation in the Indonesian public sector, it is crucial to focus on strengthening leadership, fostering a supportive organizational culture, and investing in infrastructure and training programs. These findings provide practical recommendations for policymakers and public sector managers in Indonesia.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial ecosystems have become critical drivers of the creative economy by fostering collaboration, innovation, and sustainable business models. In the context of the Global South, these ecosystems face structural challenges such as limited access to finance, infrastructure gaps, and unequal opportunities, yet they also present unique opportunities for inclusive growth. This study aims to examine how entrepreneurial ecosystems shape and influence the development of the creative economy in a Global South context, with a focus on the mechanisms that enable creative entrepreneurs to thrive despite these constraints. A qualitative case study design was employed, drawing on data collected from 45 semi-structured interviews with entrepreneurs, policy makers, and cultural actors, as well as document analysis and participant observation in three creative industry clusters. The findings reveal that local networks, informal mentoring, and culturally embedded innovation serve as the backbone of these ecosystems. Results highlight that while systemic limitations persist, adaptive strategies, collaborative practices, and policy interventions can strengthen ecosystem performance and contribute to creative sector resilience. This study concludes that fostering inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems in the Global South has a transformative potential for advancing the creative economy and addressing socio-economic disparities.

Abstract

Quantum computing has emerged as a transformative technology capable of solving complex problems beyond the reach of classical computing. Its unique properties, such as superposition and entanglement, enable efficient processing of vast datasets, making it especially valuable for analyzing complex systems. This research aims to explore the implications of quantum computing for complex system analysis, particularly in fields such as physics, biology, and finance. The goal is to identify how quantum algorithms can enhance the understanding and modeling of intricate systems. A systematic literature review was conducted, examining recent advancements in quantum algorithms and their applications to complex system analysis. Comparative analyses were performed between classical and quantum computing approaches, focusing on specific case studies to illustrate the advantages of quantum solutions. The findings indicate that quantum computing significantly accelerates certain computations, leading to improved accuracy and efficiency in modeling complex systems. Case studies in quantum simulations of molecular interactions and financial modeling demonstrate substantial performance gains over classical methods. Quantum computing holds great promise for advancing the analysis of complex systems across various disciplines. Continued research and development in this area are essential to fully harness the capabilities of quantum technologies, ultimately leading to breakthroughs in understanding and solving complex problems.

Abstract

The global burden of disease, driven largely by preventable lifestyle factors such as poor diet, physical inactivity, and smoking, continues to strain healthcare systems worldwide. In response, health promotion strategies incorporating technological innovations have gained prominence as effective tools for preventive interventions. This study explores various technology-based strategies in health promotion, focusing on their role in encouraging preventive lifestyle changes to reduce the incidence of chronic diseases. The research employs a systematic review methodology, analyzing data from 40 peer-reviewed studies that evaluate the effectiveness of digital interventions such as mobile health apps, telemedicine, and wearable devices in promoting healthy behaviors. The findings indicate that technology-based interventions significantly improve health outcomes by increasing physical activity, enhancing dietary habits, and reducing smoking rates. Additionally, these interventions are shown to be highly effective in engaging populations that may have limited access to traditional healthcare services. The study concludes that technology-based health promotion strategies offer scalable, cost-effective solutions to reducing the burden of disease. However, challenges remain in ensuring equitable access and addressing concerns related to data privacy and security. The research underscores the importance of integrating technological tools into public health strategies to drive long-term improvements in population health.

Abstract

Background. The rapid pace of modernization and urbanization has contributed to the erosion of local cultural heritage, especially in rural communities such as Bukit Sangkal Village, South Sumatra. Cultural practices, traditional arts, and indigenous values are increasingly marginalized in favor of more dominant globalized norms. Purpose. This study aims to examine how community service programs initiated by higher education institutions can play a pivotal role in preserving and revitalizing local culture. Method. Using a qualitative participatory action research (PAR) method, the study engaged directly with local stakeholders, including elders, artisans, youth groups, and village leaders. Data were collected through focus group discussions, field observations, and documentation of cultural activities.Results. The findings reveal that collaborative cultural workshops, educational campaigns, and documentation of oral traditions significantly increased awareness and participation among local residents. The revitalization of traditional dance and craft-making practices was particularly effective in engaging the younger generation. Conclusion. The study concludes that community service programs can act as dynamic instruments of cultural preservation when they are participatory, adaptive, and context-sensitive. These programs not only preserve heritage but also strengthen communal identity and intergenerational transmission of cultural knowledge.
