Abstract

The development of information technology encourages business actors to optimize business processes through digital systems, including sales and marketing activities. Abadi Battery is an automotive battery store that still conducts its business processes conventionally through a physical store. This condition causes several problems, such as limited product information, ordering processes that require customers to visit the store directly, manual reporting, and the lack of digital promotional activities. This study aims to design an e-commerce website using the CodeIgniter framework and PHP programming language as a digital sales solution for Abadi Battery. The research methods include observation, interviews, documentation, literature review, analysis of the existing system, system design, and implementation. The analysis and design tools used include Activity Diagram, Fishbone Diagram, Business Model Canvas, Use Case Diagram, Class Diagram, and user interface design. The results show that the designed e-commerce system provides product catalogs, product details, stock information, shopping carts, checkout, payment confirmation, transaction management, sales reports, payment reports, shipping reports, promotional strategies, and Search Engine Optimization implementation. The system helps improve transaction management efficiency, expand marketing reach, and make it easier for customers to obtain information and place orders online

Abstract

The school library plays a strategic role as a learning resource center that supports the educational process, strengthens literacy, and improves the quality of learning for students and teachers. However, library services at SMP Negeri 219 Jakarta are still managed manually, from searching the book collection, borrowing, and returning books, to compiling transaction reports, resulting in various challenges such as slow service, low work efficiency, and difficulties for users in accessing collection information. This study aims to design a web-based library system as a form of transformation for school library services through a user-satisfaction-oriented approach. The research employs a system design method using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach for system analysis and design, while system implementation utilizes the PHP programming language and the MySQL database. The developed system is equipped with features for book search, digital borrowing, book reservations, book donations, feedback and suggestions, return notifications, and automated reports. The research results indicate that the designed system is capable of improving the effectiveness of library management, accelerating service access, and enhancing user comfort and satisfaction. Thus, the digital transformation of school libraries serves as a strategic solution for improving the quality of library services based on user needs.

Abstract

Social media has become an important part of teenagers’ daily lives, especially for accessing entertainment, information, and current trends. Behind this convenience, artificial intelligence and algorithms play a role in displaying content based on user habits and interactions, such as likes, watch duration, comments, and search history. However, students’ understanding of how these recommendation systems work is still limited. This community service activity aimed to improve students’ knowledge and digital literacy regarding the basic concepts of artificial intelligence, algorithms, and recommendation systems on social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube. The activity was carried out through material presentation, discussion, and question-and-answer sessions. The results showed that participants better understood why the content appearing on each account can be different and became more aware that their activities on social media influence the content recommendations they receive. In addition, this activity encouraged participants to be wiser and more critical in using social media. In general, this community service activity was beneficial in improving students’ digital literacy regarding the use of artificial intelligence-based technology in everyday life
