Abstract

With the growing population means progressneed housing development. Urban sprawl that is not followed by infrastructure development could result in problems, one of which is the problem of transportation. Transportation problem is the impact of the interaction between land use, network systems and movement. The lack of balance from one of these systems cause a transportation problem, one of which is traffic congestion.This study aims to model the rise of movements performed by a community of several types of housing in the Village District of Mariana and Mariana Banyuasin Ilir I. The study was conducted to determine and estimate the magnitude of the movement that came out of the housing so that forecasting will be done to anticipate problems that will occur in the future.Analysis of trip generation is done by regression methods and methods of Artificial Neural Network (ANN). From the calculation results can be concluded that a variable number of families (X1) and a large income (X4) has an important role for the model compared with the amount of car ownership variable (X2) and motorcycle (X3). The combination of variables X1 and X4 using ANN method produces rates R2 = 0.952, so it was chosen as the model of trip generation and Mariana Mariana Ilir Urban Village District Banyuasin I.

Abstract

To improve the safety, security and comfort of pedestrians when crossing the street, the government ofPrabumulih City has built a Pedestrian Crossing Bridge located at the Traditional- Modern Market inPrabumulih City. Pedestrian crossing bridges are pedestrian bridges that are located across the road orrailroad tracks and are only intended for pedestrians who want to cross the highway or railroad tracks.The pedestrian crossing bridge is a crossing facility that is needed by the community to pass through trafficlanes and is very necessary in order to reduce the possibility of accidents and for the safety of pedestrianswho pass through it. The results of the survey on the volume of pedestrians crossing, the highest volume ofpedestrians using pedestrian crossing bridges was 186 people and 586 people not using pedestrian crossingbridges. Based on the results of the calculation of the effectiveness of the pedestrian crossing bridge, it wasfound that it was 26.14%, so the effectiveness of the pedestrian crossing bridge was included in theineffective category. For the feasibility of the Pedestrian Crossing Bridge based on the component of thefeasibility standard, it has met the eligibility standard. Meanwhile, the characteristics of pedestriancrossings that were most responded to by respondents who used pedestrian crossing bridges were that theyfelt the glass design on the bridge disturbed the view when crossing the bridge with a percentage of 76%,while for respondents who crossed not using pedestrian crossing bridges but through the road medianbecause faster than using a pedestrian bridge by 76.8%.

Abstract

Types of Road Damage Using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) Method (Case Study:Palapa Raya Street, Pemulutan Sta.0+000s/d0+7000) a system for assessing road damage conditions based on the type and level of damage that occurs, and can be used as a reference in business road maintenance. High traffic loads cause a lot of damage, thus disrupting driving comfort and safety. The aim of this research is to assess the condition of damage to Palapa Raya Street, Pemulutan Sta. 1+300 to 1+400. The research was carried out visually using the Pavement Condition Index method. Palapa Raya Road with a length of 7 km is divided into several segments with a size of 70m per segment. Each segment is evaluated by measuring dimensions, identifying the type and level of damage to obtain a PCI value. The results of the analysis show that the damage that occurred included cracked crocodile skin, obesity, aggregate wear, and holes. Average PCI value for Jalan Palapa Raya Sta. Sta.0+000s/d0+7000 is categorized as being in very bad condition (Very poor), so it needs serious treatment from the government to immediately carry out repairs before the damage becomes worse.
