Abstract

Penggunaan bahan limbah sebagai material tambahan pada beton saat ini telah menjadi poin penting dalam industri konstruksi. Hal ini terjadi karena kebutuhan akan bahan baku konstruksi yang semakin meningkat, sedangkan sumber daya alam semakin terbatas. Penggunaan bahan limbah juga dapat memberikan dampak positif baik terhadap beton dan lingkungan seperti mampu meningkatkan sifat mekanik beton dan mengurangi jumlah limbah yang dibuang ke lingkungan. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan bahan limbah berupa serat daun nanas yang dijadikan sebagai bahan tambahan untuk pembuatan foamed concrete. Persentase serat daun nanas yang digunakan sebesar 0% dan 0,2% dengan panjang serat 0 mm, 10 mm, 20 mm dan 30 mm. Adapun material yang digunakan untuk memproduksi foamed concrete berupa semen portland, fly ash, agregat halus, foam, dan air. Hasil pengujian kuat tekan foamed concrete menunjukkan bahwa campuran FCN0,2-30 menghasilkan kuat tekan yang optimum sebesar 4,76 MPa. Hasil pengujian SEM menunjukkan bahwa mikrostruktur foamed concrete dengan penambahan serat daun nanas menghasilkan matriks beton yang semakin padat dan serat daun nanas tersebut berkontribusi mengisi celah-celah yang terdapat pada beton. Selain itu, mikrostruktur foamed concrete dengan penambahan serat daun nanas memiliki pori-pori yang lebih sedikit dan lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan mikrostruktur foamed concrete tanpa adanya serat daun nanas

Abstract

To improve the safety, security and comfort of pedestrians when crossing the street, the government ofPrabumulih City has built a Pedestrian Crossing Bridge located at the Traditional- Modern Market inPrabumulih City. Pedestrian crossing bridges are pedestrian bridges that are located across the road orrailroad tracks and are only intended for pedestrians who want to cross the highway or railroad tracks.The pedestrian crossing bridge is a crossing facility that is needed by the community to pass through trafficlanes and is very necessary in order to reduce the possibility of accidents and for the safety of pedestrianswho pass through it. The results of the survey on the volume of pedestrians crossing, the highest volume ofpedestrians using pedestrian crossing bridges was 186 people and 586 people not using pedestrian crossingbridges. Based on the results of the calculation of the effectiveness of the pedestrian crossing bridge, it wasfound that it was 26.14%, so the effectiveness of the pedestrian crossing bridge was included in theineffective category. For the feasibility of the Pedestrian Crossing Bridge based on the component of thefeasibility standard, it has met the eligibility standard. Meanwhile, the characteristics of pedestriancrossings that were most responded to by respondents who used pedestrian crossing bridges were that theyfelt the glass design on the bridge disturbed the view when crossing the bridge with a percentage of 76%,while for respondents who crossed not using pedestrian crossing bridges but through the road medianbecause faster than using a pedestrian bridge by 76.8%.

Abstract

LRT (Light Rail Transit) is a fast and efficient transportation mode option. Women are one of the LRT transportation users with various obstacles, such as the level of security, which often does not receive special attention. The demands on women's time limit their ability to increase income productivity, and isolate them. So in several public transportations, including the LRT, women-only carriages have been added so that female passengers feel safe. In the process of avoiding violence in public transportation, there is a plan to have special women's carriages on the Palembang LRT. This research is to see the response of Palembang LRT users to whether it is necessary to add special women's carriages to avoid violence that occurs on the Palembang LRT and also to see the performance conditions of the Palembang LRT as a choice of transportation mode for the community.

Abstract

Traffic performance refers to the evaluation of the service quality of a road segment relative to the traffic flow through it. Road traffic performance assessment is measured by the degree of saturation and travel speed. Road capacity (C) is the ability of a road section to accommodate traffic flow in a certain time unit. Road capacity is influenced by the type of side obstacles and the frequency of occurrence. This research was conducted on Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani Campus A, Muhammadiyah University of Palembang to calculate road capacity (C) and traffic performance on Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani.  Data analysis was carried out using the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guide where road capacity and degree of saturation are road traffic performance parameters so that the value of the level of service is known. Based on the results of research and analysis that has been carried out located on Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani, Palembang, the road capacity (C) is 2,924 PCU/hour and the free flow speed (VB) value is 49.59 Km/hour, while the road traffic performance and level of service on the Jalan Simpang 4 Jakabaring-Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani section is 0.81 and is classified as category D (Flow is close to stable, speed can still be controlled, traffic volume is approaching capacity), while from the direction of Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani -Intersection 4 Jakabaring obtained a service level of 0.94 and was classified as category E (Unstable flow and sometimes stopping, traffic volume approaching capacity, low speed and changing).

Abstract

Earthquakes are vibrations that occur due to the meeting of continental plates (tectonics). Earthquake planning is carried out to ensure safety in the aspects of strength, serviceability and durability of a building. The loads on the building are divided into fixed loads and environmental loads. This research focuses on structural analysis by comparing the results of the earthquake load analysis that was input into the structure of the 2-story shophouse. As reinforcement is 560-317-181 mm2 top reinforcement and 366-228-360 mm2 bottom reinforcement for buildings without earthquake loads. Meanwhile, the results of As reinforcement are 751-395-241 mm2 for top reinforcement and 410-299-418 mm2 for bottom reinforcement. The increase in As reinforcement occurs due to the earthquake load and the influence of the magnitude of the earthquake load.

Abstract

Inspector Yazid Road is one of the important routes often used by vehicles in Lahat District, Lahat Regency. Especially in the lower market area of Lahat, various problems often arise in traffic conditions. Activities in the market have a major impact on the increasing number of daily activities and are one of the main factors causing high traffic volumes. Various side obstacles also worsen the performance of the road section. Referring to the problems that have been mentioned, the author tried to conduct a study to assess and analyze the performance of the Inspector Yazid road section using the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI). The data collected included road geometry, vehicle flow, side obstacles, and population in Lahat Regency. The data was then analyzed based on the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines. The results of the study showed that peak times occurred on Monday to Friday between 16.00 and 17.00 WIB, with a vehicle volume reaching 1537 smp/hour, side obstacles 1122 kej/hour, and a capacity of 1837 smp/hour. The free flow speed was recorded at 49.92 km/h, travel speed at 13.64 km/h, and the degree of saturation at 0.84, which indicates that traffic on Jalan Inspector Yazid is in an unstable condition and is almost approaching the maximum capacity limit.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberdayakan warga Desa Pegayut melalui pelatihan pembuatan paving block berbahan limbah plastik. Metode meliputi sosialisasi, praktik, dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan warga serta peluang ekonomi dari produksi paving block ramah lingkungan.    Kegiatan ini juga mendorong kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pengelolaan limbah plastik secara kreatif dan berkelanjutan. Produk paving block yang dihasilkan memiliki kualitas yang layak digunakan untuk kebutuhan infrastruktur lokal. Partisipasi aktif warga menunjukkan potensi besar dalam pengembangan usaha berbasis komunitas. Ke depannya, kegiatan serupa diharapkan dapat diperluas ke desa-desa lain sebagai model pemberdayaan berbasis lingkungan.
