Abstract

Discipleship is one of the church's main strategies in shaping the spiritual maturity of the congregation amidst the challenges of modern life that can cause stagnation in faith growth and weaken spiritual commitment. Through a continuous process of development, discipleship is expected to help the congregation grow in their knowledge of Christ, character, and the practice of living faith in accordance with biblical teachings. This study aims to analyze the influence of discipleship on the spiritual maturity of the congregation at the Shalom Belawan Gospel Spreading Church. The study used a quantitative method with a survey approach. The study population consisted of 40 congregants consisting of 18 men and 22 women aged 17–55 years. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that discipleship had a positive effect on the spiritual maturity of the congregation with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.339. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.115 indicated that discipleship contributed 11.5% to the spiritual maturity of the congregation, while 88.5% was influenced by other factors outside the study. These findings indicate that discipleship plays a role in supporting spiritual growth through ongoing teaching, character development, and faith mentoring. Therefore, churches need to develop planned and systematic discipleship programs to improve the quality of congregational development while strengthening their spiritual maturity.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi Ilmu teknologi dan informasi (IPTEK) yang begitu pesat dewasa ini mengharuskan sorang guru harus cakap dalam menggunakan teknologi informasi sebagai media dalam proses belajar mengajar, karena media yang menarik dapat meningkakan motivasi siswa dalam belajar dan juga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa . Salah satu media yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa adalah penggunaan aplikasi Capcut dalam kegiatan proses belajar mengajar. Aplikasi ini merupkan aplikasi yang dapat digunakan guru untuk membuat bahan ajar yang menarik. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam berkreasi untuk membuat video pembelajaran sehingga menciptakan guru yang kreatif, inovatif dan produktif. Aplikasi yang digunakan dalam pembuatan video adalah aplikasi CapCut adapun langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah : a). tahap analisis. b). tahap perancangan,c)tahap pelaksanaan pelatihan, d)tahap evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan juga hasil angket yang diberikan setelah melaksanakan Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ditemukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test sebesar 28 atau 64,19 % setelah peserta menerapkan aplikasi CapCut dengan membuat video pembelajaran diperoleh persentase tentang tanggapan peserta dalam kegiatan Pengabdian yang telah dilaksanakan diperoleh 71% peserta meyatakan setuju dan 29% peserta menyatakan sangat setuju.Dengan demikian berdasarkan data yang ditemukan diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan Pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat meningkatkan kreaivitas guru dan menjadikan guru menjadi guru yang inovatif dan produktif dalam mendesain media pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dan juga hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

This study discusses the implications of prayer discipline in shaping the congregation's heart attitude to experience faith growth at the Indonesian Apostles' Olive Church (GZRI) Lubuk Pakam. Christ has given parables about prayer and various teachings about it. Not only that, Christ also gives us an understanding of the guarantee of prayer and how important prayer is in increasing faith in God and growing into a transformed congregation so that it has a heart attitude, and in this case, is willing to be involved in existing services. Prayer is a form of communication with God conveyed in requests and requests to God, which can be in the form of hope, praise, and gratitude. This activity is a form of spirituality between humans and God where there is a relationship to build faith in God. This research is motivated by direct observation and involvement in activities called Community Service (PKM) at GZRI Lubuk Pakam, where it was found that there were attitudes of the heart that were still less aware of the importance of prayer. This attitude is influenced by the busy work activities of the congregation, resulting in a lack of response to every activity in the church, which in turn will hinder the growth of the congregation, not only in the quality of faith but also in the quantity of the congregation in the church. This study uses the methodfield research (field research) Data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed a lack of response from the congregation. The responses analyzed reflected awareness, perseverance, and humility. The implications of these findings offer practical recommendations for service delivery at GZRI Lubuk Pakam.
