Abstract

Mamminasata has been served by the Public Mass Transportation Facility (PMTF) in the form of BRT, but the development of the route has not yet represented the demands of the community, because 70% of people choose to use private vehicles in their activities. This study aims to identify the determinants of PMTF's potential routes, identify the distribution of activity centers and determine the corridors of potential PMTF routes in Mamminasata. Primary data were obtained through field observations and origin-destination surveys, while secondary data were obtained through NSPM, literature, previous research and related agencies. The analysis technique uses origin-destination matrix, spearman correlation, and analysis based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) namely kernel density, desire line, and network analyst. The results of this study indicate that the factors that correlate significantly with the intensity of the route are trip generation, attraction, and purpose of travel. The trend of movement patterns shows the central government offices, economy and business, education, shopping and entertainment, recreation, and settlements. There are 41 dominant road sections serving trips in Mamminasata. The road network is divided into five potential route priorities, with six road sections being the first priority. Thus found 9 SAUM corridors that serve the movement from the center of the settlement to the center of other activities (corridors 1, 2, 4, 6, 9), the commuter movement from the surrounding districts to the core city (corridors 3, 7, 8) and serve the movement connecting activity centers in the downtown area (corridor 5).

Abstract

Changes in land use certainly have an impact on changing the demand for parking spaces of each type of land use that exists from year to year. The purpose of this study is to identify changes in land use in this case the floor area and building functions that occur within a certain time span (2001-2014) and predictions in 2034, and to determine the impact of these changes on the needs of parking spaces on Jalan Pengayoman Makassar. The analytical methods used to determine land use changes every year are spatial analysis and map drawings, simple regression analysis to predict land use changes in 2034 and standard suitability analysis to determine parking space requirements in the study area. The results showed that since 2001-2014 the type of land use for houses and vacant land has decreased the amount of floor area. This is inversely proportional to other types of land use such as shops, shop houses, services, and offices which tend to increase in building floor area including predictions for use in 2034. Functional changes in buildings that occurred in the period 2001-2014 are houses and vacant land that tends to change to trade and service functions. This is caused by the presence of vulnerable economic growth that occurred in Makassar City in 2001-2012. Changes in land use have an impact on changing parking space requirements for each type of land use that exists from year to year, especially for trade and service functions.

Abstract

Halong area is an area consisting of protected, buffer and cultivation areas. It is feared that the development of settlements in the Halong Region will endanger the buffer zone which is useful for protecting the protected areas in Halong. The purpose of this study is to identify the weights of the variables that affect settlement development and predict settlement development in the Halong Region, Ambon City. The analytical method used is causative associative using cellular automata and kappa validation. Based on the analysis, the variables that influence the development of settlements in the Halong Region are distance to the main road, distance to health facilities, distance to worship facilities, distance to education facilities and distance to trade facilities. Furthermore, by using the weights of each variable and data on the number of houses in 2004, 2010 and 2013, we get a prediction of the development of the number of houses and a map of the distribution of new houses each year from 2014 to 2024.

Abstract

Marisa is the sub-district with the highest population growth rate in Pohuwato district, this has resulted in urban sprawl symptoms that have an impact on the length of travel needed. The increase in the length of the trip also has an impact on increasing its energy consumption. This study aims to identify the level of compactness of each kelurahan, calculate emission levels in each kelurahan and do correlation modeling to examine the effect of Marisa Urban compactness on emission levels. Based on the results of the study, urban Marisa is divided into 2 groups of space compactness namely, medium and low. There are two villages with moderate cohesiveness and four villages with low cohesiveness. Emission levels produced in urban Marisa range from 32 to 87 Kg Co2. Different levels of urban compactness affect different levels of emissions. The result of modeling with correlation shows that the compactness index variable correlates significantly not in the direction of greenhouse gas emissions, which means, if Marisa's compactness index increases, there will be a decrease in house gas emissions. It can be seen that the results of the analysis have one asterisk which means that the compactness and greenhouse gas emissions variable correlates significantly at the 0.05 or 95% level.

Abstract

Indonesia is currently focusing on handling urban areas that are very vulnerable to the effects of climate change. Therefore, the implementation of integrated spatial planning is an important element in creating a comfortable, productive and sustainable city. The City of Makassar has grown into a Metropolitan City with a population around 1.4 million people. Urban problems faced by The City of Makassar include, lack of Green Open Space (GOS), increasing amount of waste, congestion, flooding, management of wastewater that has not reached 100%, PDAM pipeline leakage is still very high and community participation in handling the environment is not optimal . This study aims to determine the existing conditions based on the Asian Green City Index (AGCI) in Makassar City, analyze the level of performance of Makassar City towards the Asian Green City Index (AGCI), and develop strategies to improve the Asian Green City Index (AGCI) in Makassar City. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach to assess the performance of Makassar City on the six attributes of the eight Green City attributes, which are, land use and building, transportation, water, waste, sanitation, and environmental governance. The results of this study are strategies for improving performance of each of the indicators of the Asian Green City Index (AGCI), which are based on priority scales in the form of additional open green space, the application of vertical building, and so on.

Abstract

Based on field facts, the road network system in the center of Makassar is more dominant than the suburbs (tanjung bunga area). This has an impact on the difficulty of accessing several areas that are close together but not connected. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of accessibility and level of regional development on the central connecting road of Makassar City with the Tanjung Bunga suburb and the relationship between the two variables. Data analysis techniques used include, calculation of the alpha index (α), Location Quotient (LQ), and calculation of the correlation between α with LQ, AHP and SWOT. Based on the results of the analysis it is known that the accessibility index is included in the category of high accessibility, LQ is included in the high category, regional accessibility and regional development have a direct relationship, that is, if regional accessibility experiences development, regional development will experience the same thing. As for the direction of the development, among others, the design of the station relating to people who visit with clarity of passenger circulation, planning the ring road, planning the connectivity of arterial roads, the realization of ring road construction, and making the Makassar City RTRW as a guide and integrated with regulations in planning the basic components of the train station fire.
