Abstract

Recently, we have been shocked again by the increasing phenomenon of bullying, both carried out in the community and in the school environment, where it seems that the perpetrators are enjoying their actions, as evidenced by the recording process which looks as if the conditions have been well planned. Without them Realize that bullying behavior can have short-term and long-term impacts, especially for victims of bullying. The most serious risk is if this bullying behavior happens to children, because they will be more at risk of experiencing various health problems, both physical and mental, such as anxiety, depression which may be difficult to forget until they grow up. What is even more worrying is that it is not uncommon for those who initially If you are a victim, one day you can become a perpetrator, so it has a chain effect that is difficult to break. This service aims to explore and present the implementation of information services regarding strategies for handling and preventing bullying at the Darul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. This community service activity uses lecture, discussion and question and answer methods. The approach is carried out by looking for/exploring participants' problems and providing solutions. The activity started with a lecture on important things related to bullying, types of bullying, the impact and how to deal with it if bullying occurs around you, plus a video showing related to bullying education. Participants' problems were identified during the question and answer process

Abstract

The aim of providing information services about bullying at the Nurush Sadri Mosque, Pekanbaru City is to increase public knowledge and understanding regarding bullying and understand strategies for preventing and handling bullying. The aim of this service is to provide the community with a proper and better understanding about bullying, forms of bullying, and the impact of bullying, as well as how to react to bullying behavior. There were 42 participants who took part in this activity. The results of the service showed that the participants' level of understanding increased significantly after participating in the activity. Specifically, regarding what is meant by bullying, how to avoid bullying, and how to behave towards bullies

Abstract

This journal focuses on mental health. The purpose of this paper is to understand how people with mental health are treated in Islam. To further narrow this discussion, the author discusses the concept of mental health in Islam, the characteristics of people with mental health in the Quran, and the characteristics of people with mental illness in the Quran. This article was compiled using a literature review method obtained from reading various books, journals, and other publications related to mental health.

Abstract

Violence in education remains a common issue, including physical, verbal, and psychological violence. This condition can negatively affect students’ emotional development and learning motivation. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve teachers’ understanding of non-violent education and positive communication in the learning process. This community service activity aimed to improve the understanding and skills of kindergarten and elementary school teachers at Sekolah Mutiara Global Pekanbaru in implementing humanistic, child-friendly, and violence-free learning through the workshop entitled Becoming Great Teachers Without Violence. The method used in this activity was Participatory Action Research (PAR), consisting of observation, problem identification, problem formulation, workshop implementation, and evaluation stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, discussions, and documentation. The results showed an increase in teachers’ understanding of non-violent education, positive communication, emotional management, and positive discipline in learning. Teachers also experienced changes in their perspectives regarding school discipline by applying more empathetic and humanistic approaches toward students. This activity proved that participatory-based workshops can help teachers create a safe, comfortable, and supportive learning environment for students’ character development
