Abstract

Purpose: The goal of community service is to improve the level of teacher competency in elementary schools by engaging in community service activities. The objective was to obtain this outcome by concentrating on communication and instructional development. Methodology: The Participatory Action Research (PAR) was chosen as the technique for this community service. Participatory Action Research (PAR) entails the active engagement of community members and relevant stakeholders with the objective of fostering collaborative problem-solving and knowledge acquisition. Results: The community service initiative enhanced the language and communication abilities of teachers. This implies that the training program has been successful in effectively addressing specific areas of teacher competency. Limitations: One obstacle to this training is related to the duration required for implementation. If the implementation time is short, it will produce less than the optimal results in the expected output. Contribution: The community service project implemented a notable enhancement in teacher proficiency in language and communication skills within the context of elementary education. This underscores the imperative for ongoing investment in teacher training to augment the calibration of education.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to expose the challenges and opportunities of transformation of technology-based college governance on future Islamic universities. This research method is a library expression. The data sources used include journal articles, books, research reports, conference papers, and policy documents related to digital transformation in higher education. The results of this research are some of the opportunities and challenges in transforming technology-based college governance in future Islamic universities. Technology transformation opportunities in Islamic higher education are, improvement, accessibility of education, flexible and adaptive curricula, administrative efficiency, development of digital resources, and global collaboration.

Abstract

The goal of this Community Service Program (PKM) is to help students at Pesantren El-Firdaus Rimba Melintang, Rokan Hilir, become more capable leaders.  Future Muslim leaders who preserve Islamic principles, tolerance, and honesty are greatly influenced by their leadership. Before the training was conducted, the students at the El-Firdaus Rimba Melintang Rokan Hilir Islamic have Lack of Leadership Skills.  The training program consists of role-playing exercises, group discussions, practical exercises, and theoretical seminars on Islamic leadership.  A pre-test and post-test approach is used in the study to gauge how well the training worked.  The findings show that students' comprehension of Islamic leadership principles has significantly improved (25%), as have their communication abilities (30%), organisational management (30%), decision-making (28%), and teamwork (22%).  Students' increased self-assurance, initiative, and ability to apply leadership concepts in their everyday lives are further supported by observations and interviews.  In order to guarantee that future generations have the abilities and morals needed to make valuable contributions to society, this program acts as a model for incorporating leadership education into Islamic boarding schools. The implementation of this program faces challenges such as limited access to modern resources and leadership training materials, which can hinder student engagement and learning. The modern resources in question include technology and digital devices such as computers, projectors, and a stable internet connection to support access to training materials in an online and interactive format. In addition, access to the latest training materials, such as leadership training modules based on Islamic values, academic books and articles, and instructional videos from inspirational figures, is often limited due to facility and cost constraints. The absence of these resources can restrict students' opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of leadership concepts and apply them in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study aims to increase children's independence and strengthen Islamic values ​​and offer novelty in the approach to early childhood counseling by integrating the stories of the Prophet as the main media. This study introduces a counseling model that is religious and contextual. The results of this study have significant practical implications for teachers, this approach can be a learning strategy as well as effective guidance in instilling values ​​of independence in a fun and meaningful way for children. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive case study approach. The subjects of the study included class teachers and students, while the object of the study was children's independence. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used deductive and inductive approaches. The results of the study showed that through interviews with teachers, it was found that the story of the Prophet was considered more effective than the lecture method because children were more interested, focused, and easily remembered the values ​​conveyed. Children's independent behavior began to be seen from them imitating the characters in the story. The effectiveness of Islamic counseling through the story of the Prophet can be seen from children easily grasping the message and making children happier. In conclusion, the application of the Islamic counseling approach through the story of the Prophet has a positive influence on increasing the independence of early childhood

Abstract

Recently, we have been shocked again by the increasing phenomenon of bullying, both carried out in the community and in the school environment, where it seems that the perpetrators are enjoying their actions, as evidenced by the recording process which looks as if the conditions have been well planned. Without them Realize that bullying behavior can have short-term and long-term impacts, especially for victims of bullying. The most serious risk is if this bullying behavior happens to children, because they will be more at risk of experiencing various health problems, both physical and mental, such as anxiety, depression which may be difficult to forget until they grow up. What is even more worrying is that it is not uncommon for those who initially If you are a victim, one day you can become a perpetrator, so it has a chain effect that is difficult to break. This service aims to explore and present the implementation of information services regarding strategies for handling and preventing bullying at the Darul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. This community service activity uses lecture, discussion and question and answer methods. The approach is carried out by looking for/exploring participants' problems and providing solutions. The activity started with a lecture on important things related to bullying, types of bullying, the impact and how to deal with it if bullying occurs around you, plus a video showing related to bullying education.
