Abstract

Digital transformation has reshaped the paradigm of managing educational institutions, particularly in the area of administration. This study aims to examine how information technology can echance the efficiency of educational administration in the digital era. The research employs a qualitative approach using library research and descriptive-analytical methods by reviewing various academic literature, educational policies, and the implementation of educational management information systems. The findings indicate that the utilization of information technology through Academic Management Information Systems, document digitalization, and integrated academic data systems can improve time efficiency, data accuracy, managerial transparency, and support data driven decision making. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, inadequate human resource competence, resistance to change, and data security issues remain obstacles to implementation. Therefore, strategic policies, the strengthening of digital literacy among educational staff, and standardized information security systems are required to optimize the utilization of information technology in educational administration.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the utilization of learning media in improving students’ learning skills within the educational environment. Learning media are understood as strategic components in the learning process that function as intermediaries for conveying messages, ideas, and information from educators to students, thereby creating a more effective, interactive, and meaningful learning process. In the context of modern education, learning media not only serve as teaching aids but also as an integral part of instructional design that can optimize student engagement in the learning process. The method used in this study is library research, which involves collecting, reviewing, and analyzing various relevant scientific sources such as books, journals, articles, and previous research findings related to learning media and students’ learning skills. This approach provides a strong theoretical foundation for understanding the concepts and implementation of learning media in education. The results of the study indicate that the appropriate use of learning media can have a positive impact on improving the quality of learning. Learning media can increase students’ attention and learning motivation, clarify the delivery of material, and facilitate a more concrete understanding of concepts. In addition, learning media encourage the creation of more dynamic teaching method variations, thereby reducing students’ boredom during the learning process. Furthermore, the use of learning media provides opportunities for students to become more actively involved in various learning activities, both in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Thus, it can be concluded that the utilization of innovative, appropriate, and student-centered learning media plays a very important role in improving students’ learning skills and creating a higher-quality, effective, and outcome-oriented learning process.

Abstract

The digital era has brought about an information explosion phenomenon that fundamentally alters the paradigm of higher education libraries. Students' expectations for instant, “all clicks” services have driven a decline in physical visits, particularly in conventional libraries that still rely on a system-centered approach and are textually stigmatized as rigid “book warehouses.” This article aims to examine the existential challenges faced by libraries in the digital age and formulate strategies for revitalizing library functions to enhance student reading interest. Using a descriptive-conceptual analysis method, this study proposes three pillars of revitalization strategy: (1) technological infrastructure revitalization toward a hybrid library based on automation systems (such as SLiMS and OPAC) and online databases; (2) spatial revitalization transforming physical spaces into more humanistic, aesthetic, and collaborative environments (the third place); and (3) human resource revitalization by repositioning librarians as knowledge workers proficient in structured literacy models (such as The Big6 or The Seven Pillars). The analysis demonstrates that the implementation of this multidimensional revitalization significantly accelerates information retrieval systems, eliminates reference access barriers, and stimulates students' intellectual curiosity. Through synergistic literacy programs, reading activities are successfully internalized as an integral part of sustainable academic lifestyles and needs, while reaffirming the library's position as the dynamic heart of higher education.
