Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in the context of international regulations and standards and its implications for organizational performance. The study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method through a systematic review of reputable scientific literature. The findings indicate that TQM has a direct effect on organizational performance and an indirect effect mediated by risk-based thinking, which enhances the organization’s ability to manage risks and uncertainties. In addition, contextual factors such as organizational readiness, institutional pressure, and sector characteristics act as moderating variables influencing the strength of these relationships. The integration of TQM with international standards such as ISO 9001 strengthens organizational legitimacy, consistency, and global competitiveness. This study proposes an integrative conceptual model explaining the multidimensional relationship between TQM, international regulations, and organizational performance. The findings contribute theoretically and provide practical implications for developing more adaptive and effective quality management systems.

Abstract

This study aims to reconstruct an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Islamic education curriculum to strengthen the moral character (akhlaq) of madrasah students. The study is motivated by the gap between the rapid development of educational technology and the current implementation of Islamic education curricula, which remain predominantly cognitive-oriented and lack systematic integration of moral values. This research employs a qualitative approach with a library research design by analyzing relevant scholarly literature on AI, Islamic education curriculum, and moral education. The findings indicate that the integration of AI into the Islamic education curriculum can be achieved through reconstruction of curriculum components, including objectives, content, teaching methods, and assessment, with a primary focus on moral development. AI functions as a wasilah (instrument) to support personalized learning, monitor students’ character development, and facilitate contextual value internalization through technologies such as adaptive learning and learning analytics. However, the implementation of AI must remain guided by Islamic values, with teachers maintaining a central role as moral and spiritual mentors. This study contributes theoretically to the development of an integrative technology-based Islamic curriculum model and offers practical implications for designing adaptive madrasah curricula that prioritize students’ moral development in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interdisciplinary leadership model that integrates transformational leadership, digital leadership based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Islamic values to foster organizational innovation in Islamic educational institutions. This research employs a qualitative approach with a library research design through a systematic literature review of reputable academic sources. The findings indicate that transformational leadership plays a crucial role in building an innovative culture through vision, motivation, and human resource empowerment, while digital leadership enhances organizational capabilities in utilizing technology and data for adaptive decision-making. AI functions as an enabler that improves organizational innovation through data analysis and strategic prediction, whereas Islamic values serve as an ethical foundation to balance technological advancement and humanistic principles. The integration of these three dimensions results in a comprehensive, adaptive, and value-oriented leadership model. This study contributes theoretically to the development of Islamic educational leadership in the digital era and provides practical implications for educational leaders in managing sustainable and ethical organizational innovation.
