Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis manajemen pelaksanaan Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) dan Tunjangan Profesi Guru (TPG) dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) pada jenjang pendidikan menengah di Kanwil Kementerian Agama Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pelaksanaan program PPG dan TPG telah berjalan cukup baik melalui perencanaan berbasis data dan koordinasi lintas unit kerja. Program PPG berkontribusi pada peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru, sedangkan TPG meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan motivasi kerja. Namun, kendala seperti keterlambatan administrasi dan keterbatasan teknologi masih ditemukan. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa penguatan manajemen berbasis kinerja dan digitalisasi administrasi diperlukan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pelaksanaan program serta profesionalisme guru PAI di masa mendatang.

Information technology advancements demand systematic reference management to maintain academic integrity. This study aims to examine the role of reference management applications in enhancing the efficiency and quality of scientific writing. Employing a library research method with content analysis, the study evaluates literature regarding the use of software such as Mendeley, Zotero, and EndNote. The results indicate that these applications facilitate metadata organization, automated citations (APA, MLA, IEEE), and the prevention of accidental plagiarism. Integration with word processors significantly improves bibliography accuracy and researcher productivity. The study concludes that utilizing this technology is a crucial necessity in the modern academic world to ensure consistency and professionalism. Using these tools not only simplifies technical aspects but also strengthens the intellectual depth of scientific work.

This study is motivated by the demands of the reform era, which emphasizes the improvement of education quality through the strategic role of the madrasah principal not only as a manager but also as a visionary leader capable of creating a conducive work environment and promoting teacher professionalism. The participatory and Islamic-oriented leadership style at the madrasah is considered to have a positive impact on teachers’ enthusiasm and sense of responsibility. This research uses a quantitative correlational approach with survey instruments to determine the extent to which leadership style influences teacher performance. The results show that the principal’s leadership style has a very significant effect on teacher performance, with a contribution of 88.5%. In comparison, the remaining 11.5% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These findings emphasize the crucial role of leadership style in enhancing teacher performance and the overall quality of education at madrasah.

Digital transformation has intensified the need for educational leadership models that integrate technological adaptation with collaborative organizational practices. This study aims to map research trends in collaborative practices, digital transformation, and madrasah leadership, and to identify conceptual gaps and future research directions. A scoping review design was employed using literature retrieved from the Scopus and Web of Science databases. Peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2015 and 2025 were selected through systematic screening and analyzed through evidence mapping, data charting, and thematic synthesis. The findings indicate a substantial increase in publications on collaborative leadership and digital transformation; however, studies specifically addressing madrasah leadership remain limited. The review also reveals that collaborative practices and digital transformation are frequently examined separately, creating a gap in understanding their integration within Islamic educational institutions. This study contributes a conceptual framework that bridges collaborative practices and digital transformation to support adaptive madrasah leadership and sustainable institutional development. Future studies should empirically validate the proposed framework in diverse madrasah contexts.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in the context of international regulations and standards and its implications for organizational performance. The study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method through a systematic review of reputable scientific literature. The findings indicate that TQM has a direct effect on organizational performance and an indirect effect mediated by risk-based thinking, which enhances the organization’s ability to manage risks and uncertainties. In addition, contextual factors such as organizational readiness, institutional pressure, and sector characteristics act as moderating variables influencing the strength of these relationships. The integration of TQM with international standards such as ISO 9001 strengthens organizational legitimacy, consistency, and global competitiveness. This study proposes an integrative conceptual model explaining the multidimensional relationship between TQM, international regulations, and organizational performance. The findings contribute theoretically and provide practical implications for developing more adaptive and effective quality management systems.

This study aims to examine the paperless campus policy within the perspective of Total Quality Management (TQM) in higher education. The research focuses on how document digitalization and administrative services can enhance efficiency, transparency, student satisfaction, and support environmental sustainability agendas. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, using interviews, observations, and document studies, with data analyzed through Miles & Huberman’s interactive model. The findings reveal that the paperless policy accelerates bureaucracy, strengthens accountability, improves student satisfaction, supports the principle of continuous improvement in TQM, and enhances the image and competitiveness of universities in the digital era. Therefore, paperless can be considered a comprehensive strategy that integrates administrative efficiency, sustainable quality culture, and commitment to environmental sustainability.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in managing facilities and infrastructure at MTs Al Kautsar Tenggarong. The background of this research stems from the initial condition of the madrasah, which was located on Jl. Danau Aji with limited land, resulting in the absence of a schoolyard and the inability to conduct flag ceremonies. Through the dedication of the former principal, the late Drs. H. Fahruddin, the madrasah was able to purchase new land, build a schoolyard, and provide dormitories for students coming from distant villages. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles & Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the modernization of facilities and infrastructure has significantly impacted teaching and learning activities, character development, and inclusive access to education. An interview with the current principal, Mrs. Miftahul Jannah, S.Pd., emphasized that TQM-based management of facilities must be continuously evaluated and improved to meet contemporary demands. Stakeholder support also plays a crucial role in sustaining quality improvement. Therefore, the application of TQM has proven effective in enhancing the quality of Islamic education in alignment with societal needs.

This study aims to measure the level of student satisfaction with educational services at Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Al-Quds Samarinda using a survey method with Likert Scale analysis. Student satisfaction is considered an important indicator in evaluating the quality of educational services, which include aspects of teaching, facilities, administration, and staff services. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach involving 30 randomly selected students from different educational levels. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire consisting of nine indicators: teaching quality, teachers’ ability to explain material, opportunities for discussion, quality of learning materials, main facilities, supporting facilities, administrative services, academic information, and staff friendliness. Data were analyzed using Likert scoring techniques and mean calculations for each indicator. The findings indicate that overall student satisfaction is in the “good” category. The highest score was found in staff friendliness (mean = 4.4), while aspects requiring improvement include supporting facilities (3.6), main facilities (3.8), opportunities for discussion (3.9), and academic information (3.9). These results show that the quality of educational services at Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Al-Quds Samarinda has generally been well implemented, although continuous improvements are needed, particularly in infrastructure, academic communication, and student participation in the learning process to achieve optimal satisfaction.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) based on an Ilahiyah quality culture in improving graduate quality at MI AT-TAQWA Samarinda City. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, educational staff, school committee members, and parents. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, while data validity was ensured through triangulation and member checking. The findings indicate that TQM was implemented through systematic and participatory planning involving all stakeholders. The values of amanah (trustworthiness), ihsan (excellence), istiqamah (consistency), and akhlaqul karimah (good character) were integrated into educational activities and school management practices. The implementation of TQM supported continuous improvement in educational processes and contributed to the development of graduates with strong academic achievement, Islamic character, and spiritual values. The study concludes that TQM based on an Ilahiyah quality culture is an effective strategy for improving graduate quality in Islamic educational institutions.

Early Childhood Education (ECE) plays a crucial role in supporting children's character development, intelligence, and overall growth during the golden age period. The quality of ECE services is strongly influenced by the leadership of school principals or institution leaders in managing educational resources. Transformational leadership is considered an effective approach to improving educational quality, as it emphasizes the ability of leaders to inspire, motivate, empower, and develop the potential of all organizational members. This article examines the concept of transformational leadership and its contribution to improving the quality of early childhood education. The findings indicate that transformational leadership enhances teacher competence, promotes a positive work culture, encourages learning innovation, strengthens parental involvement, and supports the creation of a high-quality educational environment. Therefore, transformational leadership is an important strategy for achieving sustainable quality improvement in early childhood education.
