Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of Islamic Education Management (IEM) to the development of knowledge from an Islamic perspective. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach through the analysis of relevant literature related to the concepts of IEM and knowledge development in Islam. The results show that IEM functions not only as an administrative education management system but also has epistemological and value dimensions that guide the development of knowledge in an integrative manner between rational, spiritual, and ethical aspects. IEM contributes to integrating Islamic values into curriculum design, learning processes, and academic culture, thereby overcoming the dichotomy of knowledge. The study concludes that IEM is a strategic instrument in realizing holistic knowledge development based on Islamic values. The implication of this study is expected to serve as a reference for Islamic educational institutions in strengthening value-based management implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of data-based school quality culture in the digital era through the identification of quality culture, evaluation of its implementation, and strengthening strategies in educational governance. This study employed a qualitative approach using a literature review method by collecting data from journal articles, books, policy documents, and relevant studies related to quality culture, data-based educational management, and educational digitalization. The data were analyzed descriptively and analytically through data reduction, categorization, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that a data-based quality culture is characterized by objective decision-making, the strengthening of an evaluative culture, reflective leadership, and the utilization of digital technology in educational management. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, including low data literacy, the dominance of administrative culture, limited human resources, and the suboptimal use of digital platforms as a basis for strategic reflection. This study also found that educational digitalization does not automatically improve school quality unless it is accompanied by changes in organizational culture and evidence-based work patterns. Therefore, strengthening quality culture in the digital era should be directed toward improving data literacy, developing transformational leadership, providing digital infrastructure, and strengthening collaboration among educational stakeholders. This study contributes to strengthening perspectives on the importance of integrating data-based work culture in realizing adaptive, accountable, and sustainable educational governance.
