Abstract

Berita climate change dari media massa online seharusnya menyadarkan pembacanya untuk was-was terhadap ancaman yang terjadi dan terbukti di beberapa wilayah Indonesia fenomena ekstrim seperti suhu panas yang tinggi, kekeringan, hujan disertai angin putting beliung yang sebelumnya jarang pernah terjadi.  Namun, keadaan tersebut belum memberikan pengetahuan ataupun pemahaman kepada masyarakat khususnya mahasiswa di kota Depok walaupun priming berita Koran Tempo mengenai perubahan tersebut beberapa kali dihadirkan sepamjamg 2023.Penelitian dilakukan melalui metode kualitatif eksploratif dengan responden mahasiswa sehingga  menumbuhkan pemahaman terhadap keperdulian lingkungan, dan melakukan tindakan.  Penelitian menunjukkan priming berita belum berhasil membangkitkan kembali pengetahuannya mengenai perubahan iklim karena belum menginterpretasikan secara menyeluruh dampak perubahan tersebut karena kelalain manusia. Bagi responden berita harus informasi yang ingin diketahui, menarik, sedang happening, viral, dan word of mouth. Priming media perubahan iklim dianggap kurang menarik Media massa digital untuk menjadi teman baca mahasiswa perlu memperhatikan kebiasaan mereka dalam menikmati atau mengkonsumsi berita. Banyaknya media digital yang memudahkan mereka mendapatkan berita,  mereka ternyata tidak memiliki media fanatic terhadap satu atau dua media massa online. Bagi mereka, asal beritanya sesuai dengan kebutuhannya dan sedang ramai dibicarakan maka menjadi prioritas dibaca dan dipahami. Sebaiknya, berita climate change dikemas sesuai cara mereka menikmati keseharian gaya hidup mereka. Kata kunci:

Abstract

Jawa Pos, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, published an article headlined "Black Hawk Down." The article covered the incident involving a Black Hawk helicopter colliding with American Airlines flight 5342 in Washington, D.C., USA, on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. The article's title and illustrations evoked nostalgia for the film Black Hawk Down (2001). From a postmodern perspective, this Jawa Pos article is interesting to examine in terms of how postmodernism was depicted using creative visual analysis. This research aimed, firstly, to describe the symbolic visualization of postmodernism in print media. Secondly, it aimed to methodologically significantly determine and popularize creative visual analysis as a data analysis technique for visual media objects. The research method employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The analytical technique used was creative visual analysis with art-based analysis interpretation. The research finding and interpretation described that the postmodern elements in the visual communication of the Jawa Pos’ headline article were inter-visually, nostalgia, and playfulness.

Abstract

Museum is one of tourism destination that faces a huge challenge in this digital era and that happens on DPR Museum at Jakarta. To face that challenge, it needs a promotion strategy applying digital marketing. How is Museum DPR tourism promotion strategy in this digital era? This research based on concepts of strategic planning, SOSTAC (Situation analysis, Objective, Strategy, Tactics, Actions, Control), tourism marketing, and digital marketing. For the methodology, this research uses interpretive paradigm, political significant sampling with the Head of Museum Association as the informant, and domain analysis as the data analysis technique. The result describes that the strategic planning and SOSTAC applied have not been ideal because of the problem that has been experienced by the DPR Museum.

Abstract

The impact of Covid-19 in Indonesia has not ended until November 28 2022 there is 36,057 people were exposed and 4,516,480 people were confirmed since the first Covid-19 declare. The government's anticipation during the January 2022 pandemic closed entry for arrivals from various countries through policy number 14 dated 13 October 2021 and No. 1 of 2022 concerning the behavior of entry points, quarantine places and RT-PCR obligations for Indonesian citizens traveling abroad for 10-14 days. International travelers, according to the Decree, are required to quarantine 5 x 24 hours for those who have been vaccinated and 14 x 24 hours from countries with a high escalation of positive cases. The policy was updated January 1 2022 for a 12x24 hour quarantine period, changing February 2022 to have an impact on the tourism industry, especially hospitality. The hotel quarantine policy drew criticism after the Task Force issued a list of 66 hotels. Efforts to revive the hospitality industry through political economy. Public policy is the answer to the problem. Often policies conveyed through government communications foster crisis communication as a result of the contents of the message being conveyed there are irregularities. Crisis communication occurs when negative news about the difficulty and lengthy time of getting hotel quarantine colors the media pages.
