Abstract

Apron Movement Control officers have an important role in handling Hajj and regular flights. Handling Hajj flights is different from regular flights, Hajj flights require more handling, service and supervision than regular flights. This study aims to determine the differences in the handling of hajj flights and regular flights, the obstacles faced by Apron Movement Control (AMC) officers and the efforts made to overcome the obstacles encountered in hajj flights.The method used in this research is qualitative method. The data used in this study are primary data obtained by observing and interviewing and secondary data obtained from documentation. The data analysis process in this study uses Miles and Huberman's theory, namely collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Researchers tested the validity of this research data by using triangulation. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the handling of hajj flights and regular flights, i.e. passengers are picked up on haj flights, differences in flight times, placement of parking stands, time slots for haj flights that cannot be determined, handling haj flights requires more cooperation between several units. Obstacles faced by AMC officers on hajj flights at Adi Soemarmo International Airport, namely vehicles transporting luggage and passengers of pilgrims who could not pass through the service road area, lack of human resources, and aircraft trouble. Efforts made by AMC unit officers so that the handling of regular flights and haj flights can run smoothly and effectively, namely by moving the parking stands for haj planes to become more accessible to the transportation of luggage and pilgrim passengers, AMC unit officers are able to optimize existing human resources in handling hajj and regular flights, for troubled aircraft the officers coordinate with the maintenance unit before passengers carry out the boarding process, so that haj flights and regular flights do not experience delays. Abstract

In work placement, the competence of each employee must be considered with the aim that the quality, quantity and timeliness of work can be maximized. Competence can help an organization in an effort to improve the quality of employees and their work placements and the company is able to develop and survive in a competitive competitive environment as well as the support of employees who are competent in their fields. This study aims to determine the effect of competence on employee placement at PT. Gapura Angkasa Husein Sastranegara Airport Bandung. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire distributed to employees of PT. Gapura Angkasa Husein Sastranegara Airport Bandung and data processing with the SPSS program. Population and sample in this study HR PT. Gapura Angkasa Husein Sastranegara Airport, Bandung, with a total of 37 employees. The results of the study show that competence affects employee job placement as evidenced by the results of data processing, namely t count is greater than t table (5,862 > 2,753) with a significance value of probability, namely 0.000 <0.05, it can be said that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The amount of influence obtained from the data is 49.5% and the remaining 50.5% is influenced by other factors not discussed in this study. Keywords: Competence, Employee Work Placement, PT. Abstract

AbstrakMaskapai Citilink merupakan anak perusahaan Garuda Indonesia. Penanganan ground handling Maskapai Garuda Indonesia dan Citilink ditangani oleh PT Gapura Angkasa, termasuk penanganan bagasi. Bagasi tercatat yang sudah diserahkan oleh penumpang kepada perusahaan angkutan untuk diangkut harus dikelola dengan baik dan hati-hati agar tidak mengecewakan penumpang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses penaganan bagasi dan upaya meminimalisir kehilangan bagasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, untuk menguji keabsahan data penulis menggunakan metode triangulasi teknik. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman dengan melalui tahapan reduksi data, pengujian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan serta verikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses penanganan bagasi diawali dengan pemeriksaan bagasi oleh security check menggunakan mesin X-ray dan metal detector, selanjutnya penumpang melakukan penimbangan bagasi. Bagasi yang tersimpan di makeup area diangkut dan dimasukkan ke dalam pesawat. Sampai di stasiun tujuan bagasi akan diturunkan dari pesawat dan dibawa ke tempat penumpang mengambil bagasi dan diletakkan pada conveyor belt untuk mempermudahkan penumpang dalam mengambil bagasi. Setelah penumpang mendapatkan bagasi, penumpang memberikan nomor bagasi dan petugas akan mencocokkan dengan nomor bagasi tersebut. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk meminimalisir terjadinya kehilangan bagasi, yaitu petugas harus bekerja sesuai dengan SOP, memiliki kompetensi, dapat bekerjasama dalam tim, pengawasan dari security pada proses check-in, pengawasan petugas load master yang memastikan semua bagasi yang naik dan turun dari pesawat serta memberikan sanksi atau teguran apabila petugas tidak bekerja dengan baik, meningkatkan kemampuan petugas serta melakukan evaluasi kerja.Kata Kunci: Upaya meminimalisir, Kehilangan bagasi, Maskapai Citilink AbstractCitilink airline is a subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia. The handling of ground handling for Garuda Indonesia and Citilink airlines is handled by PT Gapura Angkasa, including baggage handling. Checked baggage that has been handed over by passengers to the transportation company for transportation must be managed properly and carefully so as not to disappoint passengers. This study aims to determine the baggage handling process and efforts to minimize loss. This study uses a qualitative method using the method of observation, interviews and documentation, testing the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. Data analysis uses the theory of Miles and Huberman by going through data reduction, data testing and drawing conclusions as well as data verification. The results showed that the baggage handling process began with baggage inspection by security checks using an X-ray machine and metal detector, then passengers weighed their baggage. Baggage stored in the make-up area is transported and loaded onto the aircraft. Arriving at the destination station, the baggage will be unloaded from the plane and taken to the passengers' baggage areas and placed on a conveyor belt to make it easier for passengers to pick up their luggage. After the passenger gets the baggage, the passenger feels there is no baggage and the officer will be checked with the baggage number. Efforts are made to minimize the occurrence of baggage loss, namely officers must work according to SOPs, have competence, can supervise in teams, supervision of the security process at check-in, supervisory officers ensure all baggage that gets on and off the plane and provides sanctions or when officers do not work well, improve the ability of officers and conduct job evaluations.Keywords: Efforts to minimize, Loss of baggage, Citilink Airlines

Abstract

AbstrakKinerja merupakan hasil kerja yang telah dicapai seorang sekelompok pegawai yang sesuai dengan tugas dan tanggung jawab yang diberikan kepadanya. Kinerja dari petugas Aviation Security (Avsec) sangat mempengaruhi kelancaran dan kemanan suatu penerbangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja dari petugas Avsec dan faktor apa saja penyebab lolosnya bahan/barang berbahaya pada Security Check Point 1 di Bandar Udara Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Bima. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Untuk menguji keabsahan data digunakan teknik triangulasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kinerja petugas Avsec pada Security Check Point 1 sudah sesuai SOP (Standar Operasional Prosedur) dan faktor penyebab lolosnya barang berbahaya sebagian besar berasal dari faktor alat yang kurang maksimal dalam menampilkan barang penumpang ketika melewati mesin X-Ray sehingga menghambat proses pemeriksaan, faktor lainnya berasal dari penumpang yang tidak jujur mengenai barang bawaanya.Kata Kunci: Aviation Security, Kinerja, Barang Bebahaya AbstractPerformance is the result of work achieved by an employee in carrying out his duties in accordance with the responsibilities given to him. The performance of Avsec officers greatly affects the smoothness and safety of a flight. This study aims to determine the performance of Avsec officers and what factors cause the escape of hazardous materials/goods at Security Check Point 1 at Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Bima Airport. This research is a qualitative type of research. Sources of data used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative analysis. To test the validity of the data used triangulation technique. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the performance of the Avsec officer at Security Check Point 1 was in accordance with the SOP (Standard Operational Procedure) and the factors causing the escape of dangerous goods mostly came from the equipment factor that was less than optimal in displaying passenger goods when passing through the X-Ray machine, thus hampering the inspection process, another factor comes from passengers who are not honest about their luggage.Keywords: Aviation Security, Performance, Dangerous Goods
