Sulastri dan TartoABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan minat, kreativitas, dan prestasibelajar IPS peserta didik melalui model Project Based Learning.Subjekpenelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah peserta didik SMP Hamong PuteraSleman yang berjumlah 29 orang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitiantindakan kelas (PTK) dengan 2 siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan,pengamatan, refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan menggunakan observasi, angket(kuesioner), dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis denganmetode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase.Kriteria keberhasilan adalahkriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) diperoleh 80% peserta didik denganKKM ≥75. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan,bahwa penerapan model ProjectBased Learning dapat meningkatkan: (1) minat belajar peserta didikmencapai 34.48% di prasiklus, menjadi 51,72% di siklus I, dan 79,31% disiklus II.(2) kreativitas belajar peserta didik di siklus I (31.03%)peningkatan dari 27,5% di prasiklus, menjadi 62,06% di siklus I (93%) disiklus II. (3) prestasi belajar IPS prasiklus 63,65 dengan ketuntasan 27,58%.Di siklus I prestasi belajar 72,65 ketuntasan menjadi 62,06%. Pada siklus IIprestasi belajar IPS (79,51%), ketuntasan 100%.Indikator keberhasilan PTKyang ditetapkan yaitu minimal 75% peserta didik memiliki minat,kreativitas, dan prestasi belajar dengan kriteria baik, tercapai di siklus II.Kata kunci: Minat, Kreativitas, Prestasi Belajar, dan Model Project BasedLearning.The purposes of this research are to improve interest, creativity and socialscience learning achievement of students in Junior High School HamongPutera Sleman through Project Based Learning Model. This research is aclassroom action research with 2 cycles, consists of four stages; planning,implementation, observation, and reflection by using collaborator (IPSteacher). Research subject students which are of 29 students. Datacollecting technique use observation, questionnaire, test anddocumentation. The data analyzed using technique is descriptivequantitative with procentase.Achievement criteria is minimal completenesscriteria (KKM) that gotten by 80% students with KKM ≥75. The results ofthis research are: (1) incrase students interest, shown by the increase34.48% at precycle, increase to be 51,72% at cycles I, and 79,31% atcycles II. (2) increase creativity at cycles I to be 31.03%, form 27,5% atprecycle to be 62,06% at cycles I, and 93% at cycles II. (3) increaselearning achievement at precycle test of 63,65 with indicated 27,58%.Students’ learning achievement improve 72,65 at cycle I with indicated bystudents learning mastery percentage of 62,06%.
