Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan, perkembangan sosial-emosional merupakan hal yang penting selain perkembangan kognitif dan psikomotorik. Perkembangan sosial-emosional sangat berpengaruh kepada kebahagiaan dan ketentraman peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Salah satu paham yang menjadi pijakan perkembangan ini adalah humanisme. Humanistik memandang kemampuan bertindak positif sebagai potensi manusia dan tugas guru adalah mengembangkan potensi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tinjauan filsafat humanisme terhadap pembelajaran sosial emosional dan dampaknya terhadap kebahagiaan dan kenyamanan siswa selama pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan studi pustaka. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mencari, meninjau dan menganalisis informasi dari berbagi sumber yang relevan dengan judul penelitian seperti jurnal, buku, penelitian  dan sumber informasi lainnnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kondisi emosi yang positif akan mendukung pengalaman belajar yang bermakna sehingga siswa merasa senang selama pembelajaran. Peran guru adalah sebagai fasilitator yang memberikan kemudahan dan menuntun siswa dalam belajar, termasuk memperhatikan perkembangan sosial emosionalnya supaya pembelajaran menjadi nyaman, bahagia dan tanpa tekanan dengan berdasar pada asas kemanusiaan. Penelitian ini memberikan landasan yang kuat bagi pendidik untuk merancang pembelajaran yang mendukung perkembangan holistik siswa, salah satunya adalah pembelajaran sosial emosional yang berusaha menumbuhkan dan melatih kompetensi sosial emosional siswa yaitu kesadaran diri, manajemen diri, kesadaran sosial, keterampilan berelasi dan pengambilan keputusan yang bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

Contemporary problems are often visible only from one facet, even though there are many components that could become the solution to the issues. The sphere of sciences which are to be had in several universities can also be correlated with the current issues through their views. This research aimed to facilitate and assist college students in relating modern problems to their discipline of sciences. This research offered Seven Jump Problem-Based Learning (PBL). The model is performed via an academic in which students are divided into small groups and facilitated through an instructor. This research used class action research and qualitative and quantitative technique. The result of this research is the students can correlate contemporary problems to their fields.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the crucial relationship between ethics and science within a philosophical framework, with a specific emphasis on understanding the nature of science in the context of education. The research addresses fundamental questions about how ethics influences and shapes the role of scientific knowledge in the educational process. Examining the concepts of ethics and science from a philosophical perspective, this study presents an in-depth analysis of their interconnectedness and philosophical significance. The significance of ethics in science, particularly in education, is the primary objective identified as a moral foundation guiding the development and utilization of scientific knowledge. In this context, the researcher employed a literature review method. The study proposes efforts to comprehend the nature of science as an integral part of student's character development and understanding of the world. These efforts include critically reflecting on the ethical values embedded in scientific knowledge and emphasizing the integration of ethics into forming worldviews. Taking a philosophical approach, this research delineates the conceptual and practical implications of the relationship between ethics and science, providing a foundation for holistic thinking. The conclusion of this research suggests the development of educational methods and strategies that consider ethics as a central element in the knowledge transmission process. The study is expected to contribute positively to strengthening the balance between ethics and science in future generations' education, fostering intellectual intelligence and ethical and social integrity.

Abstract

This research aims and has objectives of the research to analyze the understanding and implementation of the Islamic student university movement to the concept of Religious Moderation and national insight. This research was conducted at the office of the Muhammadiyah Student University Association (IMM) and Indonesian Muslim University Students Action Association (KAMMI) UGM which were the samples in this research. The research method used field research and literature. Field research by interviewing and filling out questionnaires while literature as a secondary source to strengthen primary data. It was found that the understanding of KAMMI UGM cadres was better than IMM UGM on these two issues. It can be concluded that a good understanding of Religious Moderation and national insight is not directly in line with its implementation. Another finding from this study is that a good understanding of Religious Moderation is not directly in line with the knowledge of the cadres of the Islamic student movement about national insight.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah as a part of the civilization has a responsibility to spread the mercy. The organization that founded by KH Ahmad Dahlan is not carrying the theme "Efforts to Save the Universe" for its 111th anniversary in 2023 without reason. This is because the universe is not fine. Especially the natural environment. The proof is the waste emergency, the prolonged impact of El Niño, forest fires, and the never-ending haze. These are the problems of this research. Collective efforts as the solutions are needed to resolve these problems. Muhammadiyah as a preaching movement of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar takes a role in caring for the environment. This research has some contributions. They are as a lesson learnt for another communities and the implementation of Fikih Biah. The purpose of this article is to analyze the realization of efforts to save the universe. The method used is literature research. Some literatures are used to reveal the role of Muhammadiyah to reach the good society (khairu ummah). Water jurisprudence, disaster jurisprudence, Global Forum for Climate Change, and a lot of communities empowering are the evidences of Muhammadiyah commitment to save this universe. The conclusion of this research that include in Muhammadiyah efforts is felt in adding environmental awareness, switching consumption behavior, and developing the quality of life of local socities.
