Abstract

This research aims to develop a local stories book in Indonesian language subjects for grade 1 elementary school students in Singorojo District, Kendal Regency. This research also aims to determine the validity and practicality of the local stories book which was developed according to students' needs. This research uses a development model according to Sugiyono which includes potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design improvement, product testing, and product revision. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative, the variables studied include the validity of the local stories book which was developed through validation by expert experts and practicality based on student questionnaire responses. Based on the research results, it was found that (1) the local stories book validity test by material experts obtained an overall score of 87; (2) media expert aspects of book size, book cover design, and book content design received an overall score of 92; (3) and the practicality test based on the student response questionnaire obtained a score of 88.8. Thus, it is hoped that this research can make a contribution to the field of education and provide solutions that can be used by teachers in facing future learning challengesKeywords: Indonesian Book, Local Stories Book

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of students' text writing skills in the Indonesian language subject, writing skills material in class 3 of Bandungan 01 State Elementary School, Bandungan District. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether the application of the discussion method using flashcard media can improve the descriptive text writing skills of 3rd grade students at SD Negeri Bandungan 01, Bandungan District, Semarang Regency? This research aims to find out whether the discussion method using flashcard media can improve the descriptive text writing skills of grade 3 students at SD Negeri Bandungan 01, Bandungan sub-district, Semarang Regency.The research method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) taking as subjects 3rd grade students at Bandungan 01 State Elementary School. This research was carried out in the 2023-2024 school year from October to November 2023 using the 2013 Curriculum. Text writing skills were measured based on the percentage of score achieved. write text. The research implementation procedure was carried out in two cycles. The data collection technique for this research is by assessing the writing skills of grade 3 students, observing teacher skills, and observing student activities during the learning process. The data analysis used was an assessment of grade 3 students' writing skills, data analysis of teacher skills and analysis of student activities.The research results showed that the percentage of achievement in improving students' writing skills in cycle I was 43.33%, while in cycle II it was 83.33% in the very good category. The increase in teacher skills in teaching in the first cycle was 63.8%, including the sufficient category, and experienced an increase in the second cycle of 88.80% in the very good category. The same thing happened to student activities, namely in cycle I student activity was 40% (fair) to 83.3% (very good) in cycle II. Thus it can be concluded that the discussion method uses flashcard media can improve the writing skills of class III students at SD Negeri Bandungan 01.Keywords: writing skills, discussion methods, and mediaflashcard.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi terhadap keterampilan berbicara pada mata kuliah Keterampilan Berbahasa SD mahasiswa semester V Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar UNDARIS Ungaran bahwa persentase mahasiswa pada keterampilan berbicara dalam aspek berwawancara, berbicara dalam diskusi di depan kelas, serta kemampuan memandu acara masih rendah yaitu 68,13. Hal itu disebabkan karena beberapa hal, antara lain: mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menyampaikan ide, pikiran, dan gagasannya, mahasiswa kurang mampu menceritakan kembali isi suatu bacaan yang telah  dipelajarinya, kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah Keterampilan Berbahasa SD relatif rendah, mahasiswa kurang semangat dalam mengikuti proses belajar, lingkungan dan tempat belajar siswa kurang kondusif. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berbicara pada Mata Kuliah Keterampilan erbahasa SD dengan Metode Role Playing pada mahasiswa semester V Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar UNDARIS Ungaran.Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian tindakan kelas menurut Kemmis & Mc Taggart (dalam Arikunto, 2015: 42) terdiri dari empat kegiatan utama yang ada pada setiap siklus yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di UNDARIS Ungaran. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UNDARIS semester V yaitu berjumlah 35 mahassiwa, yang terdiri 21 mahasiswi dan 14 mahasiswa. Penelitian dilakukan pada semester II tahun akademik 2019/ 2020 pada bulan Februari tahun 2020. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik tes dan observasi. Instrumen yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi dosen dan mahasiswa, serta lembar tes kinerja.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode role playing dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara pada mahasiswa semester V Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar UNDARIS. Sebelum dilaksanakan tindakan, nilai rata-rata kelas yang diperoleh yaitu 59,2. Setelah dilaksanakan tindakan pada siklus I nilai rata-rata kelas 77 dan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat menjadi 81,5

Abstract

The background to this research is that the low science learning outcomes of class V students at SDN Banyubiru 01 are due to the teacher still using the lecture method so that students only compete with the teacher and students feel bored in the learning process. By using a rotary wheel media, students will have a high curiosity in the learning process. This study uses quantitative research. The data collection technique used is in the form of a test. The results of the study show that there is an effect of the use of rotary wheel media on science learning outcomes. This can be proven by the acquisition of hypotensive test results with the t test formula, namely with the calculated t value greater than t table (5.10504> 2.042) then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.Keywords: rotating wheel media, science learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study looks into how visual media affects how well fourth graders do in IPAS classes, particularly about the matter of cultural diversity at MI Karangduren. The study was started because students weren't doing well, which is thought to be because they didn't have enough hands-on and interactive learning tools. with a quantitative approach that uses a quasiexperimental design with a control group that is different from the experimental group. The study comprised 52 people. They were divided into two factions: the experimental group learned with diorama media, and the control group learned with regular teaching materials. A multiple-choice test with 30 validated questions was used to get the data. The research showed a clear difference in the results of the posttest, with the experimental group doing better. The t-test showed that the calculated t-value (3.0679) was higher than the crucial value (2.021), which means that diorama media had a big effect on how well students learned. These results show that using dioramas as a teaching technique in IPAS education could be useful. Future research should look into how well it works for different subjects and levels of schooling.
