Abstract

Employee engagement has become a popular topic in Indonesia in the past decade. Based on surveys conducted by several survey institutes in 2012 and 2014, employee engagement has been revealed in Indonesia and shows surprising results over the period. The results of the survey were obtained from answers of various employees from various companies, which led to the possibility of differences in work motivation of each employee. So, this research appears by linking employee work motivation with employee engagement. This study aims to examine the relationship of work motivation with employee attachment to a large manufacturing company in Surabaya. The sample is taken from the total number of employees on a certain unit who is a permanent employee of the company. Measurement using questionnaires with Likert scale. Validity and reliability tests show good results. In addition, there are Test F, Test t and regression analysis. The result of the research shows that there is a correlation between work motivation and employee attachment in general, although in some variables show different result.

Abstract

The community partnership service (PKM) intended to solve two partnerships’ economy social problems of UKM Tine’s Collection and KSM Kakap Merah 2 which engage in producing handmade accesories. Both partners are located on Tambak Sari subdistrict and Kenjeran subdistrict in Surabaya. The problems are (1) in management, there is lack of understanding of both partners in managing business and there is no entrepreneurial spirit; (2) in production, the products are still very simple, and ordinary; (3) in marketing, the product selling is also very simple; (4) in accounting, the parteners never record and manage the finance professionally. The results of this community partnership service are the enhancement of partners’ motivation in entrepreneurship, the improvement of products’ quality, the increasement of turn over, marketing by social media, and the awareness in bookkeeping. The suggestion for this service is the consistency of having training and support for a year for the partners to implement the knowledge and skills that both partners received to manage the business more professional, the product designs are developed as market demand and fashion trend.

Abstract

Industry 4.0 has been a hot issue for the development of worldwide trend, including in Indonesia. Indonesia stepped up to join the world’s crowd in the industry development by the statement of Indonesia’s President to be one of the top ten biggest global economies by 2030. In the same time, the government of Indonesia has called for how human resources should deal with industry of 4.0. The preparation ofentering Industry 4.0 has become really tremendous since last year. As a result, the human resources get a lot of attention. The objective of this paper is to identify the requirements in fulfilling the implementation of the Industry 4.0 by the fundamental of human resources, that is, employee motivation. This paper proposes the reflectionfor employee motivation towards Industry 4.0. It is also to represent the narration of thoughts and the followed-up in industry 4.0. The limitations of this paper are only on topics of employee motivation and industry 4.0.

Abstract

There are many changes in the business organizations’ perspective and the way of doing the job to achieve the goals of business organization after the Covid-19 pandemic. So, this study aims to find out what problems that may occur in business organization. In addition, it is also important to know from the organization side’s regarding the goals achievement by the role of the employees. Whether the employees are still indeed needed or any other things needed to be added to match with the target of business organization. Another thing that should also be put into consideration is the usage of technology after the pandemic - that could be the only solutions for business organization. The method used here was descriptive qualitative, and the data were taken by the questionnaire and some interviews in a specific manufacture national company in East Java. The result of findings showed the following. After the pandemic, it can be concludes as the usage of technology and applications are beneficial, even though there is some refusal from the employees, but with the assistance and training, the problem is solved; in addition, the production process can run smoothly and the goal of the production can be achieved.

Abstract

Program Matching Fund (MF) berperan penting untuk kemajuan COD Tegal klopo dengan cara memberikan pelatihan administrasi keuangan, pelayanan pelanggan dan juga promosi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama 8 bulan secara bertahap, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi persoalan sosial ekonomi. Pengabdian tersebut berlokasi di wilayah Kecamatan Mojokerto desa Pacet Mojokerto, Jawa Timur. Beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi, antara lain: (1) dalam bidang pembukuan selama ini pihak pengelola tidak pernah melakukan pencatatan dan pengelolaan keuangan secara profesional (2) pelayanan pelanggan (3) dalam bidang manajemen yaitu kurangnya pemahaman mitra mengenai pengelolaan bisnis dan belum adanya jiwa entrepreneur. Dari pelaksanaan Program Matching Fund Vokasi 2023 Politeknik Ubaya banyak sekali kemajuan yang dirasakan baik oleh Mitra yaitu COD Tegal Klopo maupun dari Tim Politeknik Ubaya. Terkait dengan Pembenahan Tata Kelola Manajemen Pariwisata. Terkait dengan  Pengelolaan Wisata Alam Berbasis Teknologi (Atrantion) telah ditambahakan beberapa Media Sosial yang didalamnya terdapat foto-foto dan video konten yang bisa digunakan untuk memperkenalkan destinasi wisata COD Tegal Klopo serta untuk pengembangan wisata Camping COD Tegal Klopo telah dibentuk Manajemen Event berupa Paket Wisata Camping, yaitu Paket Wisata Family Camp, Family Camp Plus, Paket Adventure Camp, serta Paket Outbound. Terkait Pembenahan dan Pengelolaan Administrasi Wisata COD Tegal Klopo, COD Tegal Klopo telah merapikan laporan keuangannya menggunakan Aplikasi Si Apik. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan dari pengabdian ini  adalah peningkatan motivasi mitra dalam berwirausaha, promosi melalui media sosial, dan kesadaran untuk membuat pembukuan
