Abstract

Salah satu indikator performa perusahaan dikatakan bagus adalah rendahnya tingkat turnover karyawan. Munculnya turnover diawali dengan adanya intensi karyawan untuk berpisah dari organisasi yang disebut dengan intensi turnover. Oleh sebab itu, cara terbaik untuk mencegah terjadinya turnover adalah dengan menekan tingkat intensinya. Job stress dan persepsi dukungan organisasi adalah anteseden intensi turnover yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran job stress terhadap munculnya intensi turnover yang dimoderasi oleh  persepsi dukungan organisasi. Metode pengambilan data dilakukan melalui survei dengan menyebarkan skala job stress, skala persepsi dukungan organisasi, dan skala intensi turnover. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 78 karyawan yang terdiri dari 33 orang auditor bank dan 45 auditor pemerintahan yang bertugas di kota Pekanbaru. Uji moderator dan hipotesis dilakukan melalui multiple regression. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa persepsi dukungan organisasi memoderasi pengaruh job stress terhadap intensi turnover dengan R = 0,691; F = 22.299 (p < 0,01). Saran berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini adalah menekan intensi turnover dengan cara modifikasi stressor di lingkungan kerja melalui work design dengan pendekatan sosioteknikal.

Abstract

This research is motivated by data released by the Central Statistics Agency of West Sumatra in 2020 which shows that the highest unemployment rate comes from undergraduate graduates. This study aims to determine the level of lifelong learning skills and job readiness of undergraduate graduates in West Sumatra and see the role of lifelong learning skills on the job readiness of undergraduate graduates in West Sumatra. This study is a research field research (field research) using a quantitative approach. This research method uses linear regression analysis. The results of this study found that, firstly, the level of lifelong learning skills of bachelor graduates in West Sumatra was dominant in the medium category, namely 63.1% of all respondents, secondly, the level of job readiness of bachelor graduates in West Sumatra was dominant in the medium category, namely 67% of all respondents. The three lifelong learning skills have a significant role in job readiness, and the role given is positive linear. The results of this study also found that of the three aspects of lifelong learning skills, intrapersonal skills have the greatest effective contribution, and cognitive aspects provide the least effective contribution compared to other aspects.Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh data yang dirilis Badan Pusat Statistika Sumatera Barat tahun 2020 yang menunjukkan angka pengangguran paling tinggi berasal dari lulusan sarjana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat lifelong learning skill serta kesiapan kerja dari lulusan sarjana di Sumatera Barat dan melihat peran lifelong learning skill terhadap kesiapan kerja lulusan sarjana di Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian field research (penelitian lapangan) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi linear. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa, pertama tingkat lifelong learning skill lulusan sarjana di Sumatera Barat dominan berada pada kategori sedang yaitu 63,1% dari keseluruhan responden, kedua tingkat kesiapan kerja lulusan sarjana di Sumatera Barat dominan berada pada kategori sedang yaitu 67% dari keseluruhan responden. Ketiga lifelong learning skill memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja, dan peran yang diberikan bersifat linear positif. Hasil penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa dari tiga aspek lifelong learning skill ternyata keterampilan intrapersonal memiliki sumbangan efektif paling besar dan aspek kognitif memberikan sumbangan efektif paling kecil dibandingkan aspek lainnya.

Abstract

Leadership is crucial element in the pursuit of organizational objectives. The examination of the characteristics of a proficient leader remains a compelling area of research, given its perceived capability to address diverse challenges, particularly those related to the organizational systems and human resources. This research used a convergent parallel mix-method to reveal type and profile of organizational management style that are effectively applied in business organizations in Indonesia today. Quantitative results revealed that the majority of managers in Indonesia apply a basic leadership separation (separated) style because of the lack of task orientation and relationships, which when affective produce a managerial style bereaucrate and when ineffective apply a deserter style. Temporary results qualitatively showed that at least four dimensions assessed must be owned by one person's leader: capacity to think strategically (strategic thinking), skilled management of tasks (task management), professional, and capable manage people or teams (people management). Integration results found convergent data because there are suitability dimensions between quantitative data and qualitative data related to management tasks and human management. Furthermore, it also obtained the results of the expansion from qualitative data was the emergence of the theme of strategic and professional thinking as a dimension that must be possessed by an effective leader in business organizations. Implications obtained based on the integration of quantitative and qualitative data analysis are perceptions that the profile ideal and effective leader can differ from what an individual applies inside the organization. As a result, even if the manager recognizes what capacities a leader should have, in practice, he may apply different styles and approaches.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang dirasakan oleh mahasiswa akhir Jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam di Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Pengembangan Ilmu Al-Quran (STAI-PIQ) Sumatera Barat, terkait banyaknya tuntutan yang dirasakan baik berupa tuntutan akademik maupun non akademik. Tuntutan tersebut menjadi beban hingga menyebabkan sebagian besar mahasiswa mengalami stres akademik. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut tentunya perlu kemampuan atau cara dalam mengatasi dan mencegah stres akademik tersebut diantaranya yaitu dengan meningkatkan adversity quotient pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh adversity quotient terhadap stres akademik mahasiswa akhir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif kausal dengan analisis regresi sederhana. Populasi berjumlah 74 mahasiswa akhir angkatan 2017 dan 2018 Jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara Nonprobability sampling dengan jenis sampel jenuh atau yang disebut total sampling, dengan demikian sampel dalam penelitian seluruh mahasiswa akhir Jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam angkatan 2017 dan 2018 di STAI-PIQ sebanyak 74 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adversity quotient memiliki pengaruh terhadap stres akademik dengan signifikansi sebesar 0.04. Selanjutnya nilai koefisien determinan (R square) sebesar 0,054, artinya adversity quotient memiliki pengaruh sebesar 5,4% terhadap stres akademik, sedangkan 94,6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.This research is motivated by the problems experienced by final students of the Department of Islamic Religious Education at the Islamic College for Development of Al-Qur'an Studies (STAI-PIQ) West Sumatra. The number of demands that are felt are academic demands and non-academic demands. This makes students feel burdened and makes final students tend to experience academic stress. Based on these problems, of course, skills or ways to overcome and prevent academic stress are needed, including by increasing the adversity quotient for students. This study aims to determine the effect of adversity quotient on final student academic stress. This study uses a causal associative quantitative method with simple regression analysis. The population is 74 end-of-2017 and 2018 students majoring in Islamic Religious Education. The sampling technique for this research was carried out by means of nonprobability sampling with a saturated sample type or so-called total sampling, thus the sample in the study was all final students of the Department of Islamic Education class of 2017 and 2018 at STAI-PIQ with as many as 74 students. The results showed that adversity quotient has an influence on academic stress with a significance of 0.04. Furthermore, the value of the determinant coefficient (R Square) is 0.054, meaning that the adversity quotient has an effect of 5.4% on academic stress, while 94.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
