Abstract

Annisa Hospital Human Resource Development data shows a tendency to increase employee turnover. From the 2022-2023 data, the percentage increase in turnover was 14.95%, rising to 16.64%. This turnover value is said to be quite high and has increased in percentage. This study aims to test the effect of situational awareness, work engagement on turnover intention with organizational commitment as an intervening variable for employees. The approach used is a quantitative approach. The sample used in this study were 169 permanent employees. Sampling was carried out by simple random sampling. Research data were obtained from filling out questionnaires and analyzed using the SEM PLS technique. The results of this study indicate that situational awareness, work engagement, organizational commitment each have a negative effect on turnover intention. Situational awareness and work engagement each have a positive effect on organizational commitment. Organizational commitment acts as an intervening factor for the influence given by situational awareness and work engagement on turnover intention. In order to reduce the high turnover intention, effective communication is needed, providing bonuses to employees according to their target achievements, providing enthusiasm and motivation to employees of Annisa Cikarang Hospital.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the direct and indirect influence of Motivation and Coaching on the Implementation of Patient Safety mediated by Responsive Culture. This research was conducted at the Hospital X. The research period is March 2024 – February 2025. This research approach uses a quantitative approach, with descriptive analysis methods that explain the relationship between variables. Using the Three Box Method, while analytics uses SEMPLS. The sampling technique used is Total Sampling. With a total of 162 nurses. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that all Motivation dimensions are in the high category with an average index above 280. The Coaching variable for all dimensions is in the medium category with an average index ranging from 273 to 286. The Responsive Culture variable is in the medium category with an average index ranging from 273.46 to 284.57. The patient safety implementation variable for all dimensions is in the medium category with an index ranging from 277.16 to 284.57. The results of this research have implications for hospitals because implementing patient safety can improve the quality of service in hospitals. Responsive Culture is a culture that encourages nurses and other medical staff to be more sensitive to patient needs and responsive to safety issues. Good coaching will help nurses have better skills and knowledge regarding patient safety procedures.

Abstract

Organizational citizen behavior merupakan suatu hal penting yang perlu dimiliki oleh staf rumah sakit karena berkaitan dengan peningkatan kinerja pegawai dan kinerja organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui modal psikologis, komitmen afektif yang dapat mempengaruhi Organizational citizen behavior dan dimediasi oleh budaya responsif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik proporsional random sampling. Metode analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa modal psikologis dan komitmen afektif mempengaruhi perilaku kewargaan organisasi melalui mediasi budaya responsif. Modal psikologis tidak berpengaruh terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Komitmen afektif tidak berpengaruh terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Komitmen afektif mempengaruhi budaya responsif. Modal psikologis mempengaruhi budaya responsif. Budaya responsif mempengaruhi perilaku kewargaan organisasi. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat memperbesar sampel tidak hanya di RS Selasih Medika saja namun di RS swasta lainnya agar hasilnya dapat digeneralisasikan lebih luas. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap upaya meningkatkan perilaku kewargaan organisasi sektor kesehatan, melalui faktor-faktor seperti modal psikologis, komitmen afektif, dan budaya responsif.
