Abstract

This study aims to describe how program management at PKBM FP2AI, Bone Regency, strengthens 21st-century life and career skills and to identify the role of self-regulated learning tools in stabilizing learners’ initiative and productivity. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using interviews, observations of learning activities, and document analysis, followed by thematic analysis. The findings indicate that the most consistently strengthened dimensions are flexibility–adaptability, social and intercultural skills, and leadership–responsibility, supported by a collaborative learning ecosystem and project – based learning practices. In contrast, initiative – self direction and productivity – accountability remain uneven across classes because personal learning goals, progress monitoring, and individual performance evaluation are not yet standardized in program artefacts. Strengthening is recommended through institutionalizing SRL tools such as learning contracts, weekly targets, reflective logbooks, mid-cycle reviews, and portfolio-based performance rubrics.
