Abstract

Karangjaya Village is a rural village where people work in agriculture or small businesses. The majority of the population lives below the poverty line, and access to health services and nutritious food is limited. As a result, child health is a major concern in Karangjaya Village with high rates of malnutrition and stunting in children under five years old. The aim of the community service is to help support an effective and efficient nutrition monitoring programme, so as to help reduce malnutrition and better manage children's health. The method of implementing the service applies counselling in the form of organising seminars for 20 mothers in Karangjaya Village. The results showed an increase in community knowledge about healthy eating patterns, which is expected to reduce the number of malnutrition in Karangjaya Village. Monitoring and evaluation showed positive results, with some children showing improved nutritional status after receiving appropriate treatment. Thus, the nutrition management system in Karangjaya Village contributes significantly to improving children's health and nutrition.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to introduce the traditional sports game of running blocks in elementary schools in Ridomanah Village, Cibarusah District, Bekasi Regency. The implementation of traditional sports is still not carried out evenly in Indonesian education. Currently, amidst the increasing popularity of modern sports, children's interest in traditional sports activities is decreasing. Especially in Ridomanah village. The lack of introduction of this traditional sport to children, resulting in a lack of knowledge of the rules of play and interest in doing traditional sports including traditional sports games running blocks. Starting from this problem, the community service team between lecturers and students of Universitas Islam 45 made a community service program with the theme of ethnography of traditional sports running blocks in Ridomanah Village with a case study of elementary school children. The main target is elementary school level children with ethnographic methods by conducting socialization and training. The results of the implementation of this activity show an interest or tendency to exercise towards the traditional sport of running blocks. This community service activity has a good effect on children to increase knowledge related to traditional running block games.

Abstract

The motivation for this research is a lack of competency with basic passing techniques. This inquiry focuses on the El Rondo Exercise Against Passing. The approach used in this investigation was exploratory. The population of this study consisted of 15 students who participated in the futsal extracurricular program at MA Siti Khadijah Sindangwangi Majalengka. The sample size was determined using total sampling, which included all 15 participants. A passing skill test is the tool used to gather data. The paired sample test was then used to process and evaluate the data. Tcount = 13.484 > Ttable = 2.145 was the result of the data from the pretest and posttest. The significance shows that the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000. H0 is true since the significance level is less than or equal to 0.05. H0 is rejected and approved because the significance value is less than (α = 0.05). It is clear from the data analysis results that the el rondo training approach significantly affects the outcomes of futsal passing. Also recommended by the researchers is the usage of the el rondo training method for futsal training.

Abstract

Abstract

One of the main challenges in physical education learning is the limited availability of appropriate and interesting learning media for students. This research aimed to develop audio-visual learning media products in class VIII junior high school PE subjects on specific motion material for variations in upper passing, lower passing variations, upper service variations, and lower service variations in volleyball games. The research was conducted as development research adopted the Borg Gall model: preliminary study, planning stage and initial research product development, expert validity test stage and product revision, small- and large-scale tests, effectiveness test and distribution of learning media products. Validation of learning media development is carried out by learning material experts, learning media experts, and learning media design experts. Following the expert validation of the learning content and material by subject matter experts, the validation of the learning media by media specialists, and the validation of the learning media design, further validation conducted by an online questionnaire to gather further feedback and insights. The results were obtained in the form of audio-visual learning media products that were tested to large groups receiving a validation score of 93% from learning material experts, 94% from learning media experts, and 95% from learning media design experts. For the effectiveness test, pre and post-tests on improving volleyball passing and serving skills has done and obtained the experimental class obtained a gain value of 0.62 and the control class obtained a gain value of 0.28. This research concluded that the use of audio-visual learning media in physical education showed positive results in improving understanding, motivation, and learning outcomes of volleyball games. With the right support, this media can be an effective tool to enrich the learning experience and support the achievement of physical education goals.

Abstract

The development of mental and physical equilibrium depends heavily on motor learning, especially for physical education students who need both abilities to succeed in their work. This study aims to investigate how well motor learning may improve university-level physical education students' mental stability and physical coordination. The study uses a mixed-methods approach, integrating qualitative observations and interviews with quantitative investigations. 60 physical education students participated, split into two groups: the experimental group and the control group. For 12 weeks, the control group followed their usual physical education curriculum, while the experimental group participated in a motor learning program that included activities aimed at improving their gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and cognitive-motor integration. Physical balancing tests, mental health evaluations, and reflective journals were used to gather data. The results showed that, compared to the control group, the experimental group's physical balance significantly improved (p < 0.05). Qualitative data also showed that participants in the experimental group had improved emotional regulation, decreased anxiety, and increased mental focus. These results demonstrate the potential advantages of systematic motor learning programs for mental and physical health. To sum up, motor learning is an essential part of physical education that supports students' overall development. To maximize student performance and prepare them for the sector's complex needs, universities should incorporate focused motor learning activities into their physical education curricula. The long-term impacts of such interventions on various populations should be investigated in more detail.
