Abstract

This research aims to: 1) determine the income from patchouli farming. 2) determine the contribution of patchouli farming income to household income. The method used in this research was a survey method, and sampling used a saturated sample method of 23 people. Data analysis uses income and contribution analysis. The results of this research show that the average income of patchouli (patchouli oil) is IDR 28,325,217.39/Ha/Planting Season, while the average income of family members is IDR 2,804,347.83/month, so the total household income is IDR 5,734,347.83/month, and the contribution of patchouli farming to household income is 59.07 percent.Keywords: contribution; patchouli; patchouli oil; incomeINTISARIPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui pendapatan usahatani nilam. 2) mengetahui kontribusi pendapatan usahatani nilam terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melalui metode survei, dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sampel jenuh sebanyak 23 orang. Analisis data menggunakan analisis pendapatan dan kontribusi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan nilam (minyak nilam rata-rata  Rp. 28.325.217,39/Ha/Musim Tanam, sedangkan pendapatan anggota keluarga rata-rata sebesar Rp. 2.804.347,83/bulan, sehingga total pendapatan rumah tangga sebesar Rp 5.734.347,83/bulan, dan Kontribusi usaha tani nilam terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga sebesar 59,07 persen.Kata Kunci: Kontribusi; Nilam; Minyak Nilam,; Penghasilan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa besar harga pokok produksi manisan  pala pada Industri Tiga Serangkai di Desa Batee Tunggai Kecamatan Samadua Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Metode pengumpulan data adalah melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode Activity Based Costing (ABC); yaitu sistem biaya yang didasarkan pada aktivitas. Metode ABC menelusuri biaya pada berbagai aktivitas dan juga kepada berbagai produk, sehingga dapat diketahui aktifitas apa saja dan berapa biaya dari setiap aktivitas  yang mendukung produk tersebut. Sistem ABC mampu memberikan informasi biaya secara lebih akurat. Hasil dari penelitian, harga pokok produksi manisan pala dalam bentuk bunga yang dikirim adalah sebesar Rp.4.965,16/bungkus, yang bentuk iris adalah sebesar Rp.3.408,24/bungkus. Sedangkan harga pokok produksi manisan pala untuk yang dijual di rumah dalam bentuk bunga adalah sebesar  Rp.4.465,16/bungkus, dan manisan pala bentuk iris Rp.2.908,24/bungkus. Harga pokok produksi untuk manisan pala berbentuk bunga lebih besar dibanding manisan pala  bentuk iris.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat melalui pelatihan pengolahan tanaman lidah buaya (Aloe vera) menjadi nata de aloe vera bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian perempuan, meningkatkan diversifikasi makanan untuk kesehatan keluarga, dan juga untuk meningkatan ekonomi keluarga. Pelatihan ini memiliki potensi besar karena sebagian besar ibu rumah tangga dapat menggunakan tanaman-tanaman disekitar pekarangan rumah mereka untuk dijadikan tanaman bernilai ekonomis. Kabupaten Aceh Barat memiliki tanah gambut yang tersebar di beberapa kecamatan di Aceh Barat, sehingga tanaman lidah buaya ini mampu beradaptasi hidup dilahan tanah bergambut demgan hasil panen yang baik. Dengan demikian, sehingga bisa menjadi alternatif diversifikasi tanaman yang bisa diterima pasar dengan baik. Lidah Buaya merupakan tanaman yang memiliki bermanfaat terhadap kesehatan, kecantikan alami, dan lain sebagainya. Namun, pemanfaatan pengolahan tanaman lidah buaya ini,  belum dilakukan secara optimal. Pelatihan ini memperhatikan ketersediaan bahan dan potensi produksi lidah buaya di wilayah Aceh Barat. Selanjutnya,  dilakukan demonstrasi pada saat pelaksanaan dengan melatih cara mengolah lidah baya menjadi nata de aloe vera sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai usaha yang dapat menjadi sumber pendapatan tambahan keluarga. Hasil dari pelatihan ini adalah peserta mampu membuat nata de aloe vera dan peserta juga mampu memilih bahan-bahan organik untuk mengawetkan nata de aloe vera. Peserta juga mampu mencatat jumlah modal yang dikeluarkan dan estimasi keuntungan yang mereka dapatkan melalui pencatatan keuangan usaha sederhana agar administrasi keuangan jelas terukur, dan peserta mampu masuk ke pasar dalam memasarkan produk hasil olahan nata de aloevera dengan baik.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a trait that can be cultivated through social roles and experiences, reflecting the inherent entrepreneurial characteristics in individuals and fosters innovation. In Indonesia, vocational education aims to develop skilled human resources at the secondary education level (UU No. 20 of 2003). Vocational schools (SMK) are intended to produce productive, creative, and independent individuals who can efficiently utilize available resources. Aceh Barat Regency ranks tenth out of 23 regencies in Aceh Province in educational success, measured by the Human Development Index (HDI). Despite this, poverty remains above 20%. SMKs can potentially increase HDI and reduce poverty by equipping students with specific skills. The creative outputs of SMK students can form the basis of small industries in West Aceh. Therefore, it is crucial to motivate and invest in vocational education to foster young entrepreneurs. To become entrepreneurs, students need to understand business language, particularly accounting. Vocational education should integrate basic business skills such as accounting, especially in engineering fields, to prepare students for entrepreneurship. This community service activity was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 majoring Engineering and Technology Meulaboh. The activities help students understand entrepreneurship and the importance of accounting as the language of business, equipping them to start businesses based on their school projects. The results indicated that students understood the relationship between accounting and entrepreneurship. The collaboration between the school, lecturers, and students created potential for sustainable activities to prepare future entrepreneurs. Continuous investment in vocational education is essential for developing entrepreneurial skills and reducing poverty in Kabupaten Aceh Barat.

Abstract

Community service is an opportunity for academic communities to contribute to societal development through empowerment initiatives without expecting specific compensation. As a pillar of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, community service plays a vital role in enhancing the potential and capabilities of local communities in education, knowledge, skills, and technology. This program focuses on empowering the local community in Songkhla, Thailand, using multidisciplinary strategies to address various challenges. Implemented at the Al-Hidayah Waqaf Foundation for Education and Social Development, the activities were conducted in a hybrid format, combining one day of in-person sessions and two days of online sessions. The program emphasized collaboration between universities and international partners to deliver impactful knowledge and skills. Key results included increased community knowledge, the application of new skills, and strengthened partnerships across sectors. This community empowerment initiative serves as a model for sustainable development, fostering independence and addressing global issues such as poverty, education gaps, and health crises through innovative and collaborative approaches.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to address the lack of knowledge among vocational high school students about organizational structures required for entering the business world. By introducing students to the importance of institutions in business, the activity seeks to provide an understanding of institutional benefits and steps to establish. The approach involves delivering lectures on the definition and components of institutions, followed by a discussion on the practical steps to form an organization. Students were engaged in an interactive session where they learned about the types of institutions that can support their entrepreneurial ventures. The activity successfully increased students' awareness of the importance of institutions in business. Participants gained a better understanding of how institutions enhance bargaining power, open market opportunities, and foster collaboration among members. Students also recognized various institutional forms that can be developed to support business initiatives. This activity was limited to a single session at one vocational school, which may limit the generalizability of the findings. Future programs could involve multiple schools to gather broader insights.
