Abstract

Classroom action research (PTK) has the aim of improving the learning outcomes of data concentration measures for class VIII students by using LKPD based on the TaRL approach. The background of this research is because in observations and interviews so as to obtain information under the absence of LKPD in accordance with the initial abilities of students. This is because the teacher has not implemented an initial assessment so that it has not been able to map the ability of students. The implementation of this research with a spiral model starting from planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data analysis technique uses the analysis of the completeness of learning outcomes and student activities through comparative description analysis. The results showed that the learning outcomes and activities of students reached more than 75% of the completeness set and with a good category. Cycle I shows the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes of 38% with an average of 58.13 and 45% learning activities with a poor category. Cycle II experienced an increase in the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes of 69 with an average of 76.82 and learner activity with 60% in the deficient category. In cycle III, there was also an increase in the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes of 81% with an average of 80.57 and student activity of 80% with a good category. Therefore, PTK through the use of LKPD based on the TaRL approach to improve the learning outcomes of data concentration measures for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Madiun is declared successful

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement in student mathematics learning outcomes through the STAD learning model assisted by Liveworksheets in class VIIIG SMPN 4 Madiun. This is motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of students based on the OECD in 2019 with a score of 379 and data on mathematics learning outcomes for class VIIIG students at SMPN 4 Madiun which is less than the KKM score. This research refers to the Kemmis and McTaggart model, namely planning, acting, observation and reflection. This research was carried out in 2 cycles with each cycle consisting of 1 meeting. There are two data sources used, namely primary data sources (results of quiz/test scores from cycles I and II) and secondary (test scores before class actions are carried out). The research instruments used were teaching and learning activity tools, observation sheets, tests, and reflection sheets. The results showed that student activity increased from 75.68% to 91.86%. Student learning outcomes also experienced an increase which can be seen from the average student learning outcomes, namely 68.23 during the pre-cycle, then increasing to 80 (cycle I) and 92.42 (cycle II). Apart from that, the increase in student learning outcomes can also be seen from the percentage of student completion, namely 54.84% during the pre-cycle, then increasing to 87.10% (cycle I) and 100% (cycle II). Based on these results, it shows that STAD model learning efforts assisted by Liveworksheets can improve mathematics learning outcomes for class VIIIG students at SMPN 4 Madiun.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of the students of class VIII H at SMPN 4 Madiun by implementing the cooperative learning model with Numbered Head Together (NHT) type. The type of this research is classroom action research that consists of two cycles. The subjects of this research were the students of class VIII H at SMPN 4 Madiun. Data was collected form tests and observations. The research instruments were test questions and observation sheets. The result of this research showed that the implementation of the cooperative learning model with Numbered Head Together (NHT) type can improve the learning outcomes of the students of class VIII H at SMPN 4 Madiun. In cycle I, the percentage of student learning completion reached 81.48% where there were 22 students who got score ≥70. In cycle II, the percentage of student learning completion increased to 92.59% where there were 25 students who got score ≥70. Moreover, the results of observations of learning implementation showed that in cycle I, it reached 82.35% in the good category and increased in cycle II to 100% in the excellent category.
