Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using Augmented Reality-based Assemblr EDU learning media in improving the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of Pannara State Elementary School. The research method used is Pre-experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest design. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling technique (purposeful sample) with a total of 30 students whose learning outcomes were tested before and after using Augmented Reality-based Assemblr EDU learning media. The research instruments were observation sheets, learning outcome tests and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Descriptive statistical analysis where the teacher and student activities obtained an average value of 3.5 with a very good category. The average value of student learning outcomes in the pretest was 50.83 and the posttest was 80.83. Furthermore, the inferential statistical analysis in this study showed the results of the prerequisite test consisting of the pretest normality test of 0.122 and posttest 0.148, the homogeneity test results of 0.294 and the hypothesis test of 0.000. Therefore, H₁ is accepted and H₀ is rejected. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the use of Augmented Reality-based Assemblr EDU learning media has an impact on the science learning outcomes of Pannara State Elementary School students.
