Abstract

Safari Ramadhan is a religious tradition that holds strategic value in strengthening Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah islamiyah) within Muslim communities. However, its implementation is often constrained by a lack of organized human resources and low levels of active community participation. This study aims to describe the form of synergy between KKN students and the community in reviving the Safari Ramadhan tradition, analyze its impact on strengthening ukhuwah islamiyah, and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation at Masjid Al-Huda, Tiumang District. A descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach was employed. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that collaboration between KKN students and the community successfully revived the Safari Ramadhan tradition in a structured and lively manner, significantly increased congregation attendance, and strengthened socio-religious bonds among community members. Key supporting factors included community enthusiasm and religious leaders' support, while inhibiting factors included limited funding and suboptimal initial coordination. This study concludes that the role of KKN students as facilitators and motivators proved effective in revitalizing local religious traditions while reinforcing ukhuwah islamiyah values in the community.
