Abstract

A study has been successfully conducted on the influence of family support on self-management of organizational students at Kesatrian 2 Semarang High School. This study was motivated by the low self-management of students who participated in school organizations. The research method used was quantitative correlational. The population in this study were grade XI students of Kesatrian 2 Semarang High School who were involved in organizations. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique so that the number of respondents was 64 students. Data were collected using the Family Support Scale and Self-Management Scale that had been validated. Data analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression technique using the SPSS 27 program. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between family support and student self-management. Based on statistical tests, the t-value was 4.173 which was greater than the t-table (1.999) with a significance level of <0.001 <0.05. The coefficient of determination R of 0.352 indicates that family support contributes 35.2% to the self-management variable, while the remaining 64.8% is influenced by other factors outside this study. The resulting regression equation model is Y = 33.638 + 0.501X. Thus, this study is that the higher the family support given to students, the better the self-management skills possessed by these organizational students.
