Abstract

Technological advancements in the digital age have had a significant impact on the learning patterns of Generation Z, who tend to prefer interactive, creative, and technology-based learning. This situation underscores the need for innovative learning media that are adaptive and relevant to the times. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using library research. Data were collected from books, scientific journals, academic articles, and previous studies, which were analyzed using content analysis. This study aims to explain the concept of innovative learning media in the digital age, the learning characteristics of Generation Z, learning innovations that are adapted to the learning characteristics of Generation Z, as well as the opportunities and challenges of implementing innovative learning media in the digital age. The results of this study indicate that innovative learning media play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of learning interactions. The learning characteristics of Generation Z include a preference for visual and audiovisual learning resources, self-directed learning, a need for rapid feedback, a shorter attention span, prominent collaboration and creativity in the learning process, a strong awareness of practical relevance, and a tendency toward social learning. Adaptive strategies that can be implemented include integrating digital media into learning, tailoring instructional materials to Generation Z's learning needs, applying active and reflective learning models, integrating character values and digital literacy, and optimizing the teacher's role as an innovator and instructional material developer. The challenges and opportunities for implementation include infrastructure and internet access, teacher training and readiness, data security and privacy, accessibility and inclusivity, personalization and differentiation, and global collaboration. Abstract

The Takhrij method is used to trace the original source of a hadith and verify its authenticity. The aim of this study is to explain the meaning and use of takhrij hadith, the takhrij method in hadith books, and the verification of the quality of hadith sanad and matan. The study employed a literature review approach, examining various hadith books and related scientific sources on takhrij. The results of this study show that the takhrij process can be carried out using several reference books such as Al-Jami’ al-Shaghir, Al-Mu’jam al-Mufahras li Alfazh al-Hadith, Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal and Miftah Kunuz as-Sunnah, which have different search systems. Sanad verification is carried out through the analysis of ittisal al-sanad, ‘adl, dabit, syaz, and ‘illat to ensure the validity of the hadith’s transmission chain. Verification of the matan is performed by evaluating the consistency of the hadith with the Qur'an, stronger hadiths, common sense, historical facts, and the linguistic characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad. Therefore, takhrij plays a vital role in maintaining the authenticity of hadiths and the purity of Islamic teachings.

Abstract

The implementation of the independent curriculum provides teachers with greater autonomy in developing learning objectives, but studies on the transformation of autonomy into teacher agency in Islamic religious education are still limited. This study aims to analyze the manifestation of Islamic religious education teacher autonomy, the role of the epistemological character of Islamic religious education in the reconstruction of the learning objectives, and the development of teacher agency in the implementation of the independent curriculum. The study used a systematic literature review approach with PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Data were obtained through Google Scholar using Publish or Perish version 8 for empirical articles from the 2022-2025 period. Four articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed using thematic synthesis. The results show that the reconstruction of the learning objectives is still dominated by an administrative orientation, resulting in the epistemological character of Islamic religious education not being optimally utilized. Teacher agency develops gradually from planning to implementation of learning, but has not been fully integrated through assessment and reflection. This study produces a conceptual framework for the reconstruction of the learning objectives flow based on teacher agency that integrates teacher autonomy, the epistemological character of Islamic religious education, and pedagogical reflection as a continuous learning development cycle.
