Abstract

Education for a moderate generation in the digital era faces complex challenges in line with the rapid development of information and communication technology. The digital era opens up wide opportunities for young people to access various information, including religious and social values, but it also has the potential to expose them to radical and intolerant content. Therefore, effective educational strategies must prioritize a balanced approach between the use of technology and the strengthening of social interactions guided by educators and parents. Digital literacy is the key for the younger generation to critically filter information and internalize inclusive, tolerant, and harmonious values of religious moderation. The active role of various parties, such as the government, educational institutions, religious organizations, and society, is essential to create a digital ecosystem that supports moderation. Educational strategies that involve cross-sector collaboration and the use of social media as a means of spreading positive messages can strengthen the foundation of moderation among the younger generation. Thus, educating a moderate generation in the digital era aims not only to develop cognitive and emotional aspects but also to shape social attitudes that can maintain harmony and diversity in this increasingly interconnected society.
