Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of integrating the Question Answer Relationship (QAR) strategy into the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model to improve data literacy in bar charts and the collaborative skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. This study applied collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) following a spiral model across two cycles. The subjects were 28 fourth-grade students at SDN Kauman 1 Malang. Data were collected through tests, participatory observations, and documentation. The quantitative analysis focused on learning mastery and test score improvements, while the qualitative analysis evaluated collaboration categories and project outcomes. The results revealed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with the class average score jumping from 73.18 in the pre-test to 90.24 in the post-test, reflecting a 23.32% increase. Concurrently, student collaboration skills progressed positively, dominated by the "proficient" category (57.14%). In conclusion, the synergy between the PjBL model and the QAR strategy effectively enhances students' data literacy from surface learning to deep learning, while transforming them into active and collaborative participants. This study recommends integrating digital data processing platforms for future research.
