Abstract

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the “Design of a Website-Based Fruit Seed Information System” in Tulangan District, Sidoarjo Regency, as a technological innovation to enhance agricultural management within the context of globalization and the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Method: The research employed a developmental and testing approach, where 10 users participated in system trials to assess usability, response time, and data accuracy. The system utilized a MySQL database and was evaluated based on service speed, data input success, and user satisfaction. Results: The findings revealed that the average service time was reduced to 5 minutes—significantly faster than manual transactions—with 80% of users successfully entering data and 90% expressing satisfaction with the system’s ease of use. The average seller response time ranged between 2–5 minutes, and all transactions were encrypted to ensure data security. Novelty: This study presents an innovative integration of digital technology into the agricultural sector, demonstrating how a web-based system can streamline seed sales, promote digital literacy among farmers, and improve agricultural productivity through efficient information management.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to design and develop a web-based reservation system for Café Gartenhütte using the User-Centered Design (UCD) method to enhance customer efficiency, convenience, and overall user experience in the reservation process. Method: The research adopts a user-focused approach through several stages, including collecting user requirements via interviews and surveys, designing an intuitive and responsive interface, and conducting usability testing to evaluate system performance and user satisfaction. Results: The developed web application successfully enables customers to make online reservations, manage booking schedules, and receive automated reservation confirmations. The implementation of this system has improved service speed, reduced manual errors, and enhanced both customer satisfaction and operational productivity at the café. Novelty: The distinct contribution of this research lies in the integration of the UCD approach into the reservation system design for small-scale businesses, ensuring that every development stage is based on real user needs, thereby producing a more efficient, user-friendly, and adaptable digital service platform.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to design and implement an artificial intelligence (AI)-based chatbot to assist software developers in debugging and generating programming solutions using Large Language Models (LLM) from Ollama. Method: The system was developed using the Waterfall methodology, encompassing stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The AI model operates locally through Ollama, while Streamlit serves as the user interface for interactive communication between users and the chatbot. Results: Testing results show that the chatbot provides accurate and contextually relevant responses to programming queries, effectively supporting developers in debugging and code recommendation tasks. However, optimization is needed to improve system response time and processing efficiency. Novelty: The integration of a locally deployed LLM with a Streamlit-based interface presents a practical and secure solution for AI-assisted programming support, highlighting its potential to enhance developer productivity and reduce reliance on external cloud-based AI services.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to design and implement a web-based information system for KSI Hansjaya, a garment production business, to serve as both an information dissemination medium and an efficient online promotional tool. Method: The system development process followed the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using the Waterfall model, which includes stages such as requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system accommodates two user categories: administrators and general users. Results: The system features were tested and evaluated through functionality testing and a questionnaire distributed to 20 respondents. The results showed that 70% of respondents strongly agreed, and 30% agreed that the system is feasible as a digital promotion medium, with all features functioning optimally according to user requirements. Novelty: This web-based system offers a responsive single-page website interface that allows administrators to manage product categories, details, and company contact information, while general users can access product information, ordering guidelines, and contact details. The developed website significantly supports KSI Hansjaya’s promotional activities and contributes positively to the business’s digital growth.
