Abstract

Scabies is an environmentally based disease (EBD). Scabies is a parasitic infection caused by the Sarcoptes Scabiei variant hominis mite. Based on the results of the researcher's observations during the community health center work practice, Scabies is one of the diseases that is quite high in the Purwanegara 1 community health center. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics, physical quality of water and the behavior of sufferers in the work area of Purwanegara 1  community  health center  in the period  January 2022- January 2023. This study included descriptive research with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were patients with Scabies in the Purwanegara 1 public health center area who had examined themselves and had conducted counseling with sanitarians in the period January 2022-January 2023. Research sampling using the total sampling method. The data used were primary data from observations and interviews, and secondary data obtained from the Purwanegara 1 public health center. The results of this study found that most Scabies sufferers were aged 17-25 years (19.3%) with male gender (58.1%), educated with elementary level (32.3%), The  physical  quality  of  water  owned  by sufferers is partially unqualified (67.7%) but  respondents have good behavior (90.3%). The description of the physical quality of the respondent's water most of the respondents did not meet the requirements but people with Scabies had good behavior. The suggestion in this study is that people can implement a clean and healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

UPTD Batur 2 Health Center is one of the health centers in Banjarnegara Regency which still has ARI problems. Based on observations from January to March2024, the prevalence of ARI is still quite high. The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the risk factors for acute respiratory infections (ARI) in children under five in the working area of UPTD Batur 2 Health Center. This research is included in desvcriptive research with cross sectional method. The population in this study were toddlers with ARI in the working area of UPTD Batur 2 Health Center who had checked themselves to the Health Center in the period January-March 2024, namely 88 toddlers with a random sampling technique. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from questionnaires and field observations and secondary data from the UPTD of Batur 2 Health Center. The results showed that most of the patiens with ARI were male (55,7%). The highest toddler age is 0-2 years (51,1%). The highest BBL is normal BBL (81,8%). Nutritional status in the good category (100%). Most of the immunization status is complete (86,4%). Good ventilation is eligible (93,2%). The density of non-dense occupancy meets the requirements (84,1%). Humadity is not good (98,8%). Mother’s level of knowledge is correct (81,8%). Good family behavior (73,9%). The conclusion from the study of patiens with ARI in infants who did not meet the requirements, namely the variables of humadity. It is hoped that the community, especially caregives, of toddlers will pay more attention to the health conditions and the surronding enviroment

Abstract

Pangempon Village RW 07 has a total of 1,548 households, the number of households that already have permanent healthy latrines is 11.46%, semi-permanent healthy latrines are 0.41% and communal latrines are 3.62%. However, there are still 7.43% who do not have access to healthy latrines. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of the community about healthy latrines, characteristics (age, gender, education, occupation), availability of clean water, and ownership of healthy latrines. This type of research is descriptive research with univariate analysis, the sample in this study was 42 families with simple random sampling technique. The results showed that the characteristics of respondents in Pangempon Village RW 07 were mostly aged 36-45 years (33.3%), the majority of gender were female (78.6%), the majority of education levels were elementary school (50.0%), the majority of employment levels were as farmers (42.9%). As many as (61.9%) had good knowledge and (38.1%) had sufficient knowledge. Respondents’ attitudes had 100% positive attitudes. As many as (97.6%) respondents already had positive behavior and (2.45%) had negative behavior. For the availability of clean water for 24 hours owned by respondents has been fulfilled (100%). As many as (71.4%) have healthy latrines and (28.6%) do not have access to proper sanitation healthy latrines and septic tanks. The overall conclusion is that the majority of respondents in Pangempon Village RW 07 have access to proper sanitation for healthy latrines (71.4%), the level of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of respondents about healthy latrines is mostly good, the advice given is counseling/ information from community leaders who understand about healthy latrines and health workers routinely and continuously.

Abstract

Scabies is a skin infection caused by Sarcoftes scabiei, a type of small mite that lives in the patient's skin. Transmission can occur directly and indirectly. One of the effects of scabies disease is poor personal hygiene. The purpose of this study was to describe the personal hygiene of people with scabies in the working area of UPTD Health Center Wanadadi 1 in 2021. The method applied in this study is a descriptive method with a cross sectional approach. Data were obtained by conducting interviews and filling out questionnaires for patients. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and presented in tabular form. Based on the results of personal hygiene research on 31 respondents, it was found that bathing habits (77.4%) of scabies patients with good categories were the most common and for poor categories the most found in hair hygiene (54.8%) with poor categories. The conclusion from the results of the study that most of the results of the 31 respondents had quite good personal hygiene, but in hair hygiene there were still many that were not good. It is expected that more attention to personal hygiene and environmental cleanliness.

This research is included in descriptive research with cross sectional method. The population in this study were toddlers with ARI in the working area of UPTD Puskesmas Karangkobar who had checked themselves to the Puskesmas in the period January-March 2022, namely 60 toddlers with a random sampling technique. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from questionnaires and field observations and secondary data from the UPTD of Karangkobar Health Center. The results showed that most of the patients with ARI were male (51,7%). The highest toddler age is 2-5 years (76,7%). The highest BBL is normal BBL (96,7%). The most nutritional status is the good category (96,7%). Most of the immunization status is complete (98,3%). Most of the air pollution is still present (91,7%). Good ventilation is eligible (60%). The density of non-dense occupancy meets the requirements (71,7%). Humidity is not good (96,7%). The behavior of parents or family is very good (86%).The conclusion from the study of patients with ARI in infants who did not meet the requirements, namely the variables of air pollution and humidity. It is hoped that the community, especially caregivers of toddlers, will pay more attention to the conditions of the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Respiratory Infections (ARI) is an endemic disease that affects the upper or lower respiratory tract, usually infectious, a wide spectrum of diseases that range from asymptomatic disease or mild infection to severe and deadly, depending on the causative pathogen, environmental factors and host factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors of the physical environment of the house on the incidence of ARI in the Working Area of Puskesmas Banjarnegara 2. This study included descriptive research with a cross sectional approach. The population was 139 toddlers and the sample was taken by random sampling as many as 58 toddlers. Data obtained from checklist observation and measurement. The results showed that the density of the house met the requirements as many as 40 (69%) houses, measurement of the temperature of all 58 houses met (100%), measurement of room humidity 35 (60.3%) houses did not meet the requirements, measurement of lighting did not meet the requirements 35 (60.3%) houses, measurement of ventilation 33 (56.9%) houses did not meet, observation of floor conditions mostly met the requirements as many as 54 (93.1%) houses, observation of air contamination mostly did not meet the requirements as many as 52 (89.7%) houses. Based on the results, it is concluded that the influential factors are humidity, lighting, ventilation and air contamination. While house density, temperature, and floor type have no effect on the incidence of ARI.

Abstract

Environmentally Based Diseases (PBL) is a health problem that is still common in the world, including in Indonesia, one of the PBLs that is still a problem is DHF. Based on data from the Banjarnegara Health Office, the highest dengue cases in 2020 were in Mandiraja District with 39 cases. Based on data from the Mandiraja 2 Public Health Center UPTD, the highest prevalence of DHF was  in  Purwasaba  Village.  The  purpose  of  this  study  was  to  determine  and describe the description of knowledge, attitudes, and behavior in cases of DHF in Purwasaba Village, Mandiraja District. This research is included in descriptive research with cross sectional approach. The population in this study was 63 houses with respondent criteria, namely dengue patients diagnosed in January-March 2022, and local residents with a radius of 200 m in RT 03 RW 03 Purwasaba Village, Mandiraja District, with purposive sampling using sampling. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from questionnaires and field observations as well as secondary data from previous studies. Based on the results of the study obtained data that respondents with an age range of 36-45 years 31.7%, female respondents 66.7%, most of the respondents' education levels in the study were 36.5% elementary school graduates,  most  of  the  respondents' occupations were  as follows: housewives 42.9%, the knowledge of most of the respondents is good 88.9%, the attitude of the respondents is classified as good 88.9% and the behavior of the respondents is classified as positive 55.6%. Based on the results of data processing, it is known that in the case of DHF in Purwasaba Village, Mandiraja District, they have  good knowledge, behave well, and behave positively. The community further improves behavior regarding PSN  DHF and  health  workers  further  improve  health  promotion,  namely  by providing counseling about DHF so that public knowledge about DHF increases and by holding activities to eradicate mosquito nests.

Abstract

Pneumonia is a health problem and the largest contributor of death in infants. The beginning of the year 2021, the discovery of cases in January - April achieve the 34 cases in toddlers in tthe health center Banjarnegara 1 Banjarnegara Regency. The purpose of this study is to describe an overview of the factors of the occurrence of pneumonia, especially in infants in the work health center Banjarnegara 1 Banjarnegara Regency in 2021. This research type is descriptive with Cross Sectional approach. This research was conducted by the method of interview to caregivers of toddlers patients with pneumonia. This research was conducted in the month of June of the year 2021 in the working area of Puskesmas Banjarenagara 1. The subject under study, namely the whole house in which there is a toddler under the age of 6 years with a large sample of 34 respondents. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The processing of data using univariate analysis in the form of a table. The results showed that the proportions nutritional status of patients with pneumonia in the dominance of a toddler good nutritional status (94,1%), age of patients with pneumonia most of 1-4 years (the 61.8%), the habit of the members of the smoking most of which are not smoking (58,8%), the knowledge of caregivers about the pneumonia most of the low ( 79,4%), air ventilation most eligible (79,4%), the lighting in the room most qualified (82,4%), and the residence of habitation eligible (79,4%). Based on the research results, suggestions are proposed is to implement the behavior of the healthy and clean living such as not smoking in the house or near a toddler, increase outreach activities to the community regarding these terms of home healthy so that preventive measures can be done.

Abstract

Acute respiration infection ARI cases in 2019 as of 7350 cases, decreased in 2020 to be 4.075 cases at the health center Madukara 1 Banjarnegara Regency. The purpose of this research is to know the description of the characteristics (gender and age), the density of dwelling rooms, ventilation of rooms, type of flooring rooms, room humidity, room lighting, room temperature, the ownership of the smoke hole, the type of fuel, the habit of opening the window of the room, the behavior when coughing and smoking habits. This research includes descriptive research with cross sectional method. Sampling technique with total sampling method that 37 respondents as the sample. The Data used in this research is primary data obtained from interviews and observations using questionnaires and secondary data from the health center. The results illustrate most of the respondents of the female gender (to 59.5%), aged above 24 years (29,7%), the density of dwelling rooms are not solid (62,2%), has a good ventilation (83,8%), has a type of floor rooms better (97,3%), has a room humidity is not good (59.5%), has room lighting is not good (to 59.5%), all of the respondents have the room temperature is better (100%), does not have the hole smoking (51,4%), use of firewood for cooking (70,3%), the habit of opening a window (62,2%) behavior when coughing left alone (75,5%), and habits of the family members who are smoking in the house (78,4%). This research is expected to society should further improve the knowledge about the health, so can emphasize the incidence of ARI and can increase the degree of health.

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis is an environment-based disease that is the 10th leading cause of death in the world and Tuberculosis mortality globally is estimated at 1.3 million patients. The incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in the Madukara 2 Public Health Center work area has increased every year.  The increase was calculated from 2017 as many as 13 cases, in 2018 there were 18 cases and in 2019 there were an increase of 30 cases again. The purpose of this study was to knowing patient characteristics for pulmonary tuberculosis in the working area of Public Health Center Madukara 2 in 2017-2019.                This study was included in the descriptive study with cross sectional method. The population of this study were all respondents recorded in the Pulmonary Tuberculosis program book at Madukara Health Center 2 from 2017-2019 as many as 61 respondents. Sampling in this study is total sampling. This research was conducted in the middle of a co-19 pandemic, so the data used were secondary data obtained from the Madukara 2 Public Health Center.                Based on the results of research on patient characteristics  for pulmonary tuberculosis from 2017-2019, there are more males than females, with age categories that are more than 25 years. The category shows the productive age category. The highest education level is elementary school and the type of work is labor, the most sufferers are new cases and the result of sputum examination with the highest BTA + status in 2018 is 61.1%.                Public Health Center need to strive for the availability of data precisely to facilitate data processing and increase socialization activities and counseling about tuberculosis to reduce the discovery of new cases each year. And the community needs to increase prevention of cases of pulmonary tuberculosis by using masks for sufferers and maintain the cleanliness of the house from adequate ventilation and lighting conditions.
