Abstract

Sampah rumah tangga yang terdiri dari sisa makanan, plastik, logam, kaca, dan lainnya merupakan penyebab ketidakseimbangan lingkungan hidup dan menjadi salah satu pilar penting dalam Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat (STBM). Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga di Dusun Lakapancar, Desa Majalengka. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, menggunakan kuesioner berisi 45 pertanyaan yang disebarkan kepada 69 ibu rumah tangga sebagai responden. Penelitian dilakukan dari bulan Mei–Juni 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 69 responden di Dusun Lakapancar, kelompok usia yang paling dominan adalah usia 31–40 tahun (40,6%). Tingkat pendidikan yang paling banyak adalah SMP/MTs sebesar 44,9%. Responden paling banyak berprofesi sebagai ibu rumah tangga (66,7%), dan memiliki pendapatan bulanan dalam kisaran Rp1.000.000–Rp2.500.000 (58%). Sebagian besar responden memiliki pengetahuan dan sikap yang baik (masing-masing 95,7 %), namun perilaku pengelolaan sampah hanya tergolong cukup (47,8 %). Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini, meskipun pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat tergolong baik, tingkat perilaku masih perlu ditingkatkan melalui partisipasi aktif warga dan penyediaan fasilitas pengelolaan sampah oleh pemerintah desa agar pengelolaan menjadi lebih teratur dan efisien.

Abstract

Diarrhea is an endemic disease in Indonesia and potential for repeatedly happens which accompanied by death. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge attitudes behavior and sanitation facilities of diarrhea patients in the working area of one of Public Health Center in Banjarnegara. This study was  descriptive with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was diarrhea sufferers who had checked themselves into the public health center in the period from January to March 2022, namely 31 people with a total sampling technique. Data used in this study were obtained from questionnaires and field observations as well as data from the public health center. The results showed that most of male respondent were 51.6% with ages between 0-5 years in 41.9%. The good level knowledge of respondents were 51.6%, good level of attitude of respondents were 74.1%, positive behave respondents were 100%. Most of respondents' availability of latrines met the requirements in 80.6%, the availability of clean water mostly met the requirements in 87% and the physical quality of the water used mostly met the requirements in 77.4%. It can be seen that diarrhea sufferers have good knowledge, good attitude, positive behavior and the availability of sanitation facilities for most respondents. Respondets are expected to be able to apply a healthy lifestyle and get more inportant information from health workers to improve their health.

Abstract

Scabies is an endemic disease in the community caused by Sarcoptes scabiei. Sigaluh I Public Health Center recorded a prevalence of scabies of 319 cases in 2021. The purpose of this study was to describe the provision of clean water and personal hygiene of scabies patient. This research is a descriptive study with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were patients with scabies in the working area of Sigaluh I Health Center in 2021. Systematic random samplingwas used to gain 76 respondents as samples. The primary data obtained from questionnaires, measurements, and field observations. The results shown that most of the respondents behavior was well in maintaining clean clothes (88.2%), well in maintaining skin cleanliness (96.1%), moderate in maintaining hand and nail hygiene (52.6%), good in maintaining cleanliness genitalia (96.1%), good in maintaining the cleanliness of towels (96.1%), and good in maintaining the cleanliness of the bed and sheets (46.1%). Most of clean water supply condition which used by respondents meet the requirements (96.1%) and had the quality of the water meets the requirements (90.8%). Conclusion of the study was personal hygiene habits mostly on good behavior, most of the sources of clean water supply meet the requirements and the physical quality of water mostly meets the requirements. Respondents were expected to further improve clean and healthy living behavior in order to regarding the factors that cause scabies.

Abstract

Pangempon Village RW 07 has a total of 1,548 households, the number of households that already have permanent healthy latrines is 11.46%, semi-permanent healthy latrines are 0.41% and communal latrines are 3.62%. However, there are still 7.43% who do not have access to healthy latrines. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of the community about healthy latrines, characteristics (age, gender, education, occupation), availability of clean water, and ownership of healthy latrines. This type of research is descriptive research with univariate analysis, the sample in this study was 42 families with simple random sampling technique. The results showed that the characteristics of respondents in Pangempon Village RW 07 were mostly aged 36-45 years (33.3%), the majority of gender were female (78.6%), the majority of education levels were elementary school (50.0%), the majority of employment levels were as farmers (42.9%). As many as (61.9%) had good knowledge and (38.1%) had sufficient knowledge. Respondents’ attitudes had 100% positive attitudes. As many as (97.6%) respondents already had positive behavior and (2.45%) had negative behavior. For the availability of clean water for 24 hours owned by respondents has been fulfilled (100%). As many as (71.4%) have healthy latrines and (28.6%) do not have access to proper sanitation healthy latrines and septic tanks. The overall conclusion is that the majority of respondents in Pangempon Village RW 07 have access to proper sanitation for healthy latrines (71.4%), the level of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of respondents about healthy latrines is mostly good, the advice given is counseling/ information from community leaders who understand about healthy latrines and health workers routinely and continuously.

Abstract

The global population using basic drinking water services increased by 1.7 billion people per year from 2000-2017. Drinking Water Depot (DAM) is a household business that supplies drinking water which is currently consumed by many people in Banjarnegara. In general, the quality of drinking water according to microbiological parameters should not contain Coliform bacteria such as E. coli. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between sanitation hygiene and the microbiological quality of drinking water in DAM in Banjarnegara District in 2023. This research is an observational study using a cross sectional research design. The population in this study was all DAM in Banjarnegara District. This research used a total sampling of 27 DAMs that were operating at the time this research was conducted. The results of the research show that the sanitation picture mostly meets the requirements, the condition of the equipment all meets the requirements, personal hygiene mostly meets the requirements, the source of raw water is mostly from dug wells with the raw water quality mostly not meeting the requirements and the microbiological quality of the produced water mostly not meeting the requirements. requirements for Coliform parameters, but on further examination E. Coli mostly met the requirements. These results show that there is still a need to control processing so that DAM production results are suitable for public consumption. Routine monitoring by the relevant agencies needs to be tightened so that the quality of drinking water produced by DAM is maintained.

Abstract

Crystal ice cubes are a food product that is very well known by the public. As a mixture of ice cubes, there is a risk of becoming a disease-transmitting agent. Bacterial contamination factors in ice cubes include the processing process. CV KIC is one of the crystal ice cube producers in Kebumen Regency. This study aims to describe the sanitary hygiene of crystal ice processing and the coliform content in crystal ice at CV KIC, Kebumen Regency. This type of research is descriptive research with a cross-sectional approach. The research was carried out from April to June 2023. The number of samples for this study was two samples of raw material water (A) and water after going through the processing stage (B) and employees at CV KIC. The method used in this examination is the Most Probable Number (MPN). The research data were analyzed univariately. The results showed that the content of coliform bacteria showed that sample A was classified as fulfilling the requirements and sample B was classified as not fulfilling the requirements of Permenkes No. 2 of 2023. The results of sanitary hygiene inspections for crystal ice processing showed that handler hygiene was 60%, equipment sanitation was 100% and site sanitation was 77.7%. Manufacturers of crystal ice cubes should pay more attention to the cleanliness of the handlers and the equipment used to process crystal ice cubes

Abstract

Respiratory Infections (ARI) is an endemic disease that affects the upper or lower respiratory tract, usually infectious, a wide spectrum of diseases that range from asymptomatic disease or mild infection to severe and deadly, depending on the causative pathogen, environmental factors and host factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors of the physical environment of the house on the incidence of ARI in the Working Area of Puskesmas Banjarnegara 2. This study included descriptive research with a cross sectional approach. The population was 139 toddlers and the sample was taken by random sampling as many as 58 toddlers. Data obtained from checklist observation and measurement. The results showed that the density of the house met the requirements as many as 40 (69%) houses, measurement of the temperature of all 58 houses met (100%), measurement of room humidity 35 (60.3%) houses did not meet the requirements, measurement of lighting did not meet the requirements 35 (60.3%) houses, measurement of ventilation 33 (56.9%) houses did not meet, observation of floor conditions mostly met the requirements as many as 54 (93.1%) houses, observation of air contamination mostly did not meet the requirements as many as 52 (89.7%) houses. Based on the results, it is concluded that the influential factors are humidity, lighting, ventilation and air contamination. While house density, temperature, and floor type have no effect on the incidence of ARI.

Abstract

There are 1208 IPRT in Banjarnegara Regency until the end of December 2020, while those who have registered and have P-IRT Certificates are 1.030.. The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of food hygiene and the place of production of the Household Food Industry (IPRT) and to determine the licensing of PIRT in the work area of Puskesmas Bawang 1.   This type of research is descriptive with an observational approach. Methods of collecting data through observation and interviews using questionnaires and checklists and documentation. Data analysis used univariate analysis. The sample in the study was 20 household food industries in the work area of Puskesmas Bawang I. The characteristics of the handlers are predominantly female, 95%, aged 35-45 years, namely 45%, and having graduated from SMA/MA/SMK, namely 45%. The description of the IPRT health environment in the bad category 83%, the description of the IPRT building in the bad category 56%, the description of the roduction equipment in the bad category 76%, the description of the water supply or water supply facilities in the good category 100%, the description of the sanitation hygiene facilities and activities in the bad category 61%, The description of employee health and hygiene in the bad category of 50.8%, the description of the maintenance of the sanitation hygiene program in the bad category of 63%, the description of storage in the bad category 92%. The conclusion of the study shows that IPRT in the Puskesmas Bawang I has not shown overall good hygiene and sanitation conditions, except for the condition of water supply or water supply facilities, so public health center is expected to be able to carry out training and monitoring of IPRT in accordance with health standards.

Abstract

Physical work environment affect the results of the work. Therefore, it is necessary to design the physical working environment for worker comfort and avoid subjective complaints in workers. The purpose of this research is to know the description of the physical quality of the air and subjective complaints on the workers part of the production of PT Pagilaran Production Unit Jatilawang. This research includes descriptive research method with cross secsional. The population in this research is all of the workers in the production section. The sampling technique using total sampling. The Data used in this research is primary data obtained from the measurement of the physical quality (lighting,noise,temperature) and interviews with a questionnaire subjective complaints. Workers will each have 30 questions. The results of measurements of the physical environment states that the intensity of the lighting is not eligible, the intensity of the noise is eligible, and the intensity of the temperature eligible. Subjective complaints of the average worker no experience or don't complain (>90%). There are only 3 workers had complaints from the intensity of the lighting, 2 workers have complaints of noise intensity and 1 workers have complaints from the intensity of the temperature in the work environment. PT Pagilaran Production Unit Jatilawang expected to add artificial lighting.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus which is transmitted from person to person through the bite of the Aedes sp. The results of the preliminary survey found that in recent years the incidence of dengue fever has always occurred repeatedly in Kenteng Village. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of the community regarding efforts to prevent dengue fever in Kenteng Village, Madukara Sub-District, Banjarnegara District in 2021. This is an observational study with cross sectional approach. The sample population is the family head of Kenteng Village, Madukara Sub-District, Banjarnegara Dsitrict. The number of samples after being determined by the Slovin formula is 74 respondents who will be selected by simple random sampling. The results showed that most of the respondents were in the age group of 20-40 years (47.3%), the education level was elementary school graduates (43.3%), having the type of work as housewives or not working (39.2%), and have a monthly income below the UMK (60.8%). While the knowledge of attitudes and behavior of respondents about prevention of DHF is mostly sufficient knowledge (82.4%), have a good attitude (78.4%) and have positive behavior (93.2%). Although most of the respondents' knowledge, attitudes and behavior were classified as good, there was still a need for regular socialization because the incidence of DHF always repeated in every season.
