Abstract

Menulis sebagai salah satu keterampilan berbahasa memegang peranan sangat penting. Kurikulum bahasa Inggris 2004 mengamanahkan kompetensi dasar menulis yang terdiri dari beberapa indikator. Namun siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menuangkan ide-ide mereka dalam bentuk tulisan. Hal ini disebabkan karena: (1) siswa bingung darimana harus memulai, kurang bisa mengorganisasikan ide, kekurangan kosakata, memiliki kebiasaan menerjemahkan bahasa Indonesia ke dalam bahasa Inggris; dan (2) pembimbing guru pada proses pembelajaran menulis kurang diupayakan secara maksimal sehingga orientasi penilaian lebih ditekankan pada hasil tulisan. Tujuan dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini, adalah: (1) menganalisa penerapan strategi scaffolding pada proses pembelajaran menulis simple present tense sederhana; dan (2) menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan menulis simple present tense sederhana setelah diterapkan strategi scaffolding. Objek Penelitian Tindakan Kelas adalah siswa kelas VII-C SMP Negeri 15 Tasikmalaya Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2015-2016 dan penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus pembelajaran menulis.Pada pembelajaran menulis pada siklus I dengan tiga kali tatap muka pada penelitian ini belum mencapai target seperti yang diharapkan baik dari sisi proses maupun hasil akhir tulisan siswa. Pembelajaran menulis dilakukan kembali pada siklus II dengan empat kali tatap muka sebagai upaya perbaikan proses pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dan refleksi pada siklus I. Penelitian ini dianggap cukup, ketika evaluasi proses dan hasii pembelajaran menulis pada siklus II sudah mencapai hasil seperti yang ditargetkan pada perencanaan penelitian. Upaya peningkatan intensitas pelaksanaan scaffolding menunjukkan peningkatan sangat signifikan pada proses pembelajaran dan hasil akhir tulisan siswa pada siklus II dibandingkan dengan proses dan hasil akhir tulisan pada siklus I.Dengan demikian, strategi scaffolding dalam pembelajaran menulis direkomendasikan dapat diterapkan pada penulis pemula, dapat diterapkan pada kelas besar, sebagian tahapan dapat dilakukan di luar kelas, dan juga mendorong tumbuhnya rasa kasih sayang, kesabaran, keikhlasan dalam pembimbingan baik secara individual, kelompok dan klasikal.

Abstract

This research paper aims to know whether there is a significant effect of Padlet application towards students’ narrative writing at the Tenth Grade of SMAN 1 Malingping Lebak-Banten In Academic Year 2023/2024. The authors paper used quantitative approach and quasiexperimental design. The technique in choosing the sample is cluster random sampling; the authors used XE 7 (36 students) as class experiment and XE 10 (36 students) as class control. The experimental group was taught narrative text in writing activity used Padlet application, where as the control group was taught used Google classroom. At the first meeting of the research, the researcher gave a pre-test to both the experimental group and the control group to measure the extent of students’ narrative writing. Then gave treatment for five meetings and the last meeting of the research, the researcher gave a post-test to find out the final results and to prove the significant effect after being given treatment using a Padlet application in the experimental group. In analyzing the data, the author used independent sample t-test by SPSS 29 for windows showed the value of t calculated> t- table was 25.100 in experimental class. And its significance value because less than 0.05 (P = 0.00 < 0.05 in experimental class). It can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Therefore, the researcher concluded that the Padlet application has a good effect on Students’ Narrative Writing. In addition, this Padlet application is not only effectively used in learning writing but could also be used as an online learning medium because this Padlet application has space to communicate freely between teachers and students as well as between other students.

Abstract

The background of this research is the impact of termination of employment which resulted in a large number of unemployment rates, especially in the kp kebon kopi area, is a difficult problem to solve. Therefore, preparing quality human resources is very important so that the only way to solve existing problems is by empowering people with improve the quality of human resources conducting job training in coffee plantations, namely humans are able to carry out all activities that have activities to provide services or work businesses that are effective and efficient etc. Limiting this problem is an effort to increase human resources to overcome unemployment through job training in an Islamic perspective. The formulation of this problem is how to increase human resources in order to overcome unemployment and how Islam views unemployment. The role of the environment in Kp Kebon Kopi and to find out how Islam views unemployment. Theoretically, this research can add knowledge and insight, especially regarding the Job Training program to increase human resources and reduce unemployment. In addition, this research can be used as reading material, references, and studies. Practically, it can provide quality input to the community and place of training in implementing job training. So that it can increase human resources and reduce unemployment in the Kp Kebon Kopi environment. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection is done by the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis of data by collecting data and presenting data. The results of the research at the job training site in Kebon Kopi are that in increasing human resources in order to overcome unemployment, there must be quality human resources provided for example by someone providing services or businesses that are effective and efficient, etc. The number of unemployment rates in Kp Kebon Kopi every year increases but with the job training program in the coffee plantation environment it shows a very petrified role with the achievement of an increase in the workforce but job training efforts in reducing the number of unemployment rates have not gone well, if the number of workers has increased every year, of course, the number of labor force should decrease and the unemployment rate will decrease every year. However, this is reversed, namely the number of labor and unemployment will both increase.

Abstract

Ralstonia solanacearum is an important pathogen of tomato. An alternative method to control this disease is through the application of biocontrol agents. Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) can be used as potential biocontrol agents, and PGPR producing siderophores play an important role in disease suppression. This experiment was conducted to select and characterize siderophore-producing rhizobacteria from tomato and to determine their potential as antagonistic agents against R. solanacearum. Candidates of PGPR were isolated from tomato plants grown in West Java Province, Indonesia. The isolates were screened for siderophore production using CAS medium. Among the 29 siderophore-producing isolates that showed a negative hypersensitivity reaction, two isolates exhibited the widest inhibition zones against R. solanacearum. These isolates were CP1C and CP2D, with inhibition zone diameters of up to 3.6 mm and 7.0 mm, respectively. Based on 16S rDNA sequencing, isolate CP1C was identified as Brevundimonas sp., while isolate CP2D was identified as Enterobacter sp. Both isolates did not negatively affect plant height or plant dry weight when compared with the control.
