Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the writing school Program in honing the self-efficacy of students through verbal persuasion in Pondok Pesantren Putri Walisongo Cukir Jombang. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to the method of data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that this program effectively increases the confidence of students in writing. This is indicated by the increased self-efficacy of students after obtaining consistent verbal support from teachers and peers, as well as a supportive learning environment. The Program also facilitates the improvement of critical thinking skills, writing Systematics, and good use of language. However, there are obstacles such as limited facilities and infrastructure, lack of reference book collection, and lack of access to supporting technology. These findings emphasize the importance of the role of teachers and peers in providing constructive verbal persuasion to improve students ' self-efficacy, especially in writing skills.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to create a ready-to-wear fashion design that integrates Banyuwangi cultural values through the transformation of the Oling Elephant Batik motif and the anatomical character of the elephant into a contemporary fashion silhouette. The methods used with the stages of research on the creation of works include pre-design, design, realization, and presentation. In the pre-design stage, an exploration of the study of the philosophy of the Elephant Oling, analysis of elephant anatomy as a source of shape, and the selection of materials and textile techniques. The planning stage produces alternative sketches and is created at the embodiment stage covering patterns, material cuts, sewing and finishing. The results of the study show that the integration of cultural values, shape transformation and textile manipulation can produce ready-to-wear clothing that is aesthetic, functional and has narrative power. This research affirms the potential of contemporary fashion as a medium of cultural revitalization and offers a new model of approach in symbolic-based design. Further research is recommended to examine user responses and the potential for collection development at a production scale.

Abstract

Masa remaja adalah fase perkembangan yang rentan terhadap berbagai tekanan termasuk bullying dan perubahan sosial yang dapat berdampak pada kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh bullying, kecerdasan emosional, dan dukungan sosial terhadap kesehatan mental remaja di salah satu SMP di Kabupaten Blitar. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan melibatkan 42 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner selama awal bulan April hingga akhir bulan Juni dan dianalisis menggunakan SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesehatan mental remaja. Sebaliknya bullying dan dukungan sosial tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan secara statistik. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kecerdasan emosional merupakan faktor kunci dalam menjaga stabilitas mental remaja meskipun faktor sosial seperti perlakuan dari lingkungan dan dukungan dari sekitar tetap memiliki peran penting yang tidak boleh diabaikan dalam upaya menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang sehat dan suportif.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of digital technology has driven changes in people's behavior, particularly parents', in seeking information and making school choices through digital media. This situation requires private schools in urban areas to implement effective digital marketing and relationship marketing strategies to build trust and increase parental interest in sending their children to school. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing and relationship marketing on parental interest in sending their children to school at Strada Bhakti Utama Middle School in South Jakarta, with trust as a mediating variable. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. Sampling was conducted using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. Respondents in this study were 66 parents of fifth- and sixth-grade students at Strada Bhakti Utama Elementary School. Data were collected through a Google Form questionnaire distributed to respondents. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results showed that digital marketing did not have a positive and significant effect on trust, nor did it have a positive and significant effect on parental interest in sending their children to school. Conversely, relationship marketing had a positive and significant effect on trust, but not on parental interest. Furthermore, trust did not have a positive and significant effect on parental interest in sending their children to school. The mediation test results also showed that trust was unable to mediate the influence of digital marketing or relationship marketing on parental interest. Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong perubahan perilaku masyarakat, khususnya orang tua, dalam mencari informasi dan menentukan pilihan sekolah melalui media digital. Kondisi ini menuntut sekolah swasta di wilayah urban untuk mengimplementasikan strategi digital marketing dan relationship marketing secara efektif guna membangun kepercayaan dan meningkatkan minat orang tua menyekolahkan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh digital marketing dan relationship marketing terhadap minat orang tua menyekolahkan anak di SMP Strada Bhakti Utama Jakarta Selatan, dengan kepercayaan sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 66 orang tua murid kelas 5 dan 6 SD Strada Bhakti Utama, dan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berupa google form yang disebarkan kepada responden, serta dianalisis menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digital marketing tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepercayaan, serta tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat orang tua menyekolahkan anak. Sebaliknya, relationship marketing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepercayaan, namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat orang tua. Selain itu, kepercayaan tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat orang tua menyekolahkan anak. Hasil uji mediasi juga menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh digital marketing maupun relationship marketing terhadap minat orang tua. Abstract

Kepuasan kerja guru merupakan faktor penting yang menentukan kualitas pembelajaran di Sekolah Kasih Baptist Pangkalpinang. Namun, dari situasi di lapangan, terlihat adanya beberapa masalah terkait kepuasan kerja guru, seperti kurangnya fasilitas, pemberdayaan yang belum merata, serta persepsi guru terhadap kepemimpinan yayasan. Karena itu, diperlukan pemahaman lebih jauh mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kepuasan kerja guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh kepemimpinan, pemberdayaan guru, dan fasilitas terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di Sekolah Kasih Baptist Pangkalpinang. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner tertutup yang disampaikan secara daring kepada seluruh guru. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 35 orang. Penelitian ini dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda, uji t, uji F dan koefisien determinasi (R²) melalui bantuan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di Sekolah Kasih Baptist Pangkalpinang, (2) Pemberdayaan guru tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru, dan (3) Fasilitas sekolah juga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja guru.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the SKUA program based on persuasive strategy to realize a religious culture at MI Darussalam Badang Jombang. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, because the purpose of the study was to find data that was natural setting where the conditions studied were in accordance with the conditions in the field. The findings in this study in the implementation of the SKUA program based on persuasive strategy include the habituation of applying the materials contained in the SKUA program provided by educators and students not only apply them at school but also in everyday life. In addition, good role models in behavior and attitude are also shown by educators so that students imitate and apply them.  Future research can focus on analyzing the long-term effectiveness of the SKUA program based on persuasive strategy in shaping students' religious culture, both within the school environment and in their daily lives. A longitudinal approach can be employed to observe changes in students' attitudes and behaviors over a certain period, allowing for an assessment of the extent to which religious values are internalized sustainably. Furthermore, the study can expand its scope by comparing the implementation of the SKUA program across multiple educational institutions to identify factors influencing its success. This comparative study approach will provide broader insights into the effectiveness of persuasive strategy methods in fostering religious culture in various educational contexts.

Abstract

Academic stress often undermines university students’ emotional coping abilities. This study examines the effectiveness of a neuro-semantics-based cognitive reframing technique in enhancing students’ emotional coping when facing academic stress. A quasi-experimental one-group pre-test–post-test design was used, involving 31 undergraduate students from Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari Tebuireng Jombang who experienced academic stress. Data were collected using the Emotional Coping Scale (ECS) and analysed with paired sample t-tests in SPSS 26.0 to measure changes after the intervention. Results showed a significant improvement in emotional coping abilities after the intervention (p = .000, p < 0.05), indicating that neuro-semantics-based reframing effectively enhanced adaptive emotional regulation and resilience against stress. The study's limitations include a small sample, the absence of a control group, and a short intervention period. Future studies should use larger, more diverse samples and longer-term designs to validate these results. This research provides empirical support for integrating cognitive-behavioural and neuro-semantic frameworks in psychological interventions. It demonstrates how meaning reconstruction and meta-state alignment can foster more profound emotional transformation, offering a novel approach to managing academic stress among students.

Abstract

This study investigates how depression contributes to academic stress among university students, with anxiety functioning as a mediating factor. The research arises from growing concerns about students’ emotional challenges linked to demanding academic expectations and post-pandemic adjustment. Using a quantitative design, the study involved 76 undergraduates recruited through purposive sampling. Standardised measures of depression, anxiety, and academic stress were administered, and the data were analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) in SmartPLS 4. The findings showed that depression significantly predicted academic stress (β = 0.352, p = .003) and strongly increased anxiety levels (β = 0.642, p < .001). Anxiety also contributed to academic stress (β = 0.380, p < .001) and served as a partial mediator between depression and academic stress (β = 0.244, p = .004). The model displayed moderate explanatory power (R² = 0.440). Overall, the results support Lazarus and Folkman’s (1984) transactional stress model and Beck’s (1979) cognitive theory, highlighting the interaction of cognitive and emotional factors. Practically, the study underscores the importance of counselling approaches that strengthen cognitive–emotional regulation and promote mental health literacy in universities.

Abstract

Thomas Armstrong’s book, The Best Schools, offers a profound critique of the conventional education system, which places excessive emphasis on academic achievement and standardized test results while neglecting the holistic development of students. Armstrong proposes a humanistic educational paradigm that prioritizes the comprehensive growth of learners, encompassing physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. The book elaborates on how principles of human development can be translated into practical and relevant educational practices across different levels of schooling, from early childhood to senior high school. This study systematically reviews Armstrong’s educational concepts and practices, examining their relevance and potential application in the context of Indonesian education. The findings indicate that a humanistic approach, which values the uniqueness and developmental needs of each individual, effectively enhances learning motivation, socio-emotional skills, and students’ psychological well-being. Furthermore, this approach fosters an inclusive, supportive, and democratic learning environment, which is essential for nurturing students who are not only academically competent but also emotionally mature and prepared to face global challenges. The study recommends the integration of Armstrong’s principles into Indonesian educational policies and practices as part of a more humane and meaningful educational reform.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the decline in the sense of nationalism students due to the rapid development of technology. The aim of this study is to provide an overview of the loss of nationalism in millennials due to the rapid flow of globalization. This research is a qualitative study with a fundamentalist approach. It focuses on understanding the erosion of nationalism among young people. Data collection was carried out through direct observation in the research field and conducting several interviews with several sources from SMA Trensains Tebuireng. The data analysis technique used Domain analysis, which encompasses love of the homeland and the spirit of maintaining unity. The process involved data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Finally, data validity was checked. This research was conducted through credibility testing (extending observation, increasing persistence, triangulation). The results of the study indicate that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMA Trensains Tebuireng is implemented effectively. There is general Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, and there is additional content, namely Aswaja material. The methods used in learning vary. The instillation of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari's Nationalist Values ​​in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Learning at SMA Trensains Tebuireng includes; a sense of love for the homeland, fostering a spirit of unity.
